Can you SSH into it?
My only Linux box is at my girlfriend's house, so I'll have to try that later. Unless I'm missing something and can do that from somewhere else, which I probably can.
Also if I decided I wanted to buy a domain, I could host the website from home if I bought dynDNS's $30/year package, right?

SSH works. I've been doing that this whole time lol I just didn't put two and two together.
Does anyone know the reason why Battlefield 3 doesn't look smooth at 60 FPS even though the framerate doesn't drop much (doesn't even go near 50 FPS).
When I capture the gameplay and watch the video, it appears much smoother, like I think it should look while playing.

Is a G400 a good replacement for a Razer Copperhead? I've had it for 3 years, cleaned it yesterday and now the Left click button is fucked.
Anything's a good replacement for the Copperhead. After switching to a G500, I realized how cheap and plasticy the Copperhead felt.

Thanks!
But I think I'll get this one:

I like the style more and the stand is really nice.

Paying $60 for a stand and bezel? Why?

Nevermind, I'd probably get the CATLEAP one since it has vesa mounts and I could get a better mount for the same price or just a bit more.
I'm having an issue with what appears to be the multiplayer games of source. (tf2, gmod, css, hl2:dm)
I don't quite remember when it happened but it wasn't too long ago. When I launch one of these games, the screen is invisible until I click or another action is done. The memory usage is less than 150MB.
If I put hl2.exe into compatibility mode of winxsp3, then it launches, but aero gets disabled.
I tried launching these games on a new windows profile and all the games launched fine.
I really don't want to spend the time to migrate my profile to a new one since that would fuck with a lot of things.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this and how I could solve it?
Thet crossover you linked is 100x100mm VESA, catleaps are 75x75mm.
GTX 580 at 89 Celcius under rapist load, such as Witcher 2. I'm sitting with a fractal design core 3000 case and summer ambient is like 27 degrees. What's wrong here? I got one side-fan blowing in on it so it has ample intake. Should i move it to the bottom or?
For comparison, the Q9550 CPU runs frosty at 45-50 degrees under Prime 95 and my trusty ol' gtx 260 never went past 69 Degrees.
89 is fine
My problem isn't really the temps as much as the goddamn fan noise.
Crappy GPU cooling maybe?
Doesnt sound really bad
Quick question for the experts in here.
I've been using WMP for all of my media playback and, up until now have had no problems with the program whatsoever. Recently, playing back larger AVI files has become quite a task for the program for some reason, as it takes a good few minutes to load the file and begin playback, and, after attempting to exit the program, it will freeze for upwards of 5 minutes.
My computer isn't the best computer in the world, but I've no idea why a 3.2 ghz Phenom II quadcore, GTX460, and 16gb of DDR3 1600 ram wouldn't be able to play back a 720p AVI file recorded and encoded in the machine itself. To test this, I installed VLC and the file plays back perfectly.
Here's my question. Can anyone recommend a good free media player that can serve as a worthy replacement for WMP in all aspects? I'd use VLC but I'm kind of OCD about aesthetics and I'm unable to find a skin that doesn't make me want to barf, so I'm still looking for alternatives.
tl:dr Can anyone recommend a worthwhile media player that isn't ugly as sin?
Vlc with wmpc design

Media Player Classic.
You can completely remove the border with key 1.

Also, for animation, I suggest you use SmoothVideo-Player(may require some extra setup)
I have no experience in buying motherboards, I currently have an ASRock H61M-HVS. I'm not sure what to replace it with if need be.
Also doesn't switching out motherboard make windows think it's a different computer, so you need a different key?
My computer has used an ECS motherboard, a MSI motherboard, and a Gigabyte motherboard.
Not once did it ask for a new/different key.

Some brand-name computers will do this, however. I'm not sure what part I changed, but I remember an HP computer of mine doing this.
Im looking for a music player I use mainly FLAC files at home and would like to bring them around with me.

I don't think that's a default Windows thing; I think that's only done through certain audio drivers (my VIA drivers do it).
Do hazro use b-unit panels in their monitors?

10-bit, 1600p, 30", seems great for the price but unsure if their panels are reliable.
I heard the Hazro monitors use the same ones as the Catleaps. Just with better quality control.
