Thank you, but i still think i need a better power supply.
anything above 500W with a 6 pin connector is enough.
So my lines in PS:CS6 are really blocky and it doesn't follow well. What settings should I increase to try to fix this? I have a fairly good pc, quad core and good videocard but only about 4 gigs of ram.
What is the best price:performance/durability SD card, and where should I get it in the UK?
Sandisk, amazon.
What is the best price:performance/durability SD card, and where should I get it in the UK?
If you need 10 MB/s performance, make sure to get a class 10.
I got a class 10 32GB sdcard. was worth the 60$
1) Can someone review this build for me? It's a basic office PC for my dad. Link 2) Can someone recommend me a monitor for it?

Is there much of a difference between these cards? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102984 -SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7850 OC http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161406 - HIS Radeon HD 7850
One has 2 fans the other has 1.

Sure it's overclocked but you can do that with any card.
[del]Just installed my sapphire 7850, either i'm going blind or something's up, everything looks blurred compared to before and i've messed around with cleartype for long enough to figure out that wasn't the problem and i'm running at my native resolution.[/del] A few minutes of muddling around with my monitor and settings it seems to be back to normal.
Anybody know of a box that will allow me to attach two monitors to a laptop via HDMI?
Anybody know of a box that will allow me to attach two monitors to a laptop via HDMI?
Are you asking for something that will replicate or something that makes them two seperate screens? Don't think the latter is very possible.
My mouse cursor just feels really slow in PS CS6. Is there anything at all I can do or should I try downgrading to cs5?
Might as well ask here to verify if i'm having a brainfart. With a GTX 580, will there be a noticeable change from Q9550 to 3570K. Especially in games like Ass Creed and Witcher 2 where FPS seems to fluctuate as much as 50%. That MUST be a cpu bottleneck, right?

Well guys, I got my Intel 520 SSD ready to go. I've got all my media that I want backed up on my external. Now, I'm looking at Seans Window 7 SSD Optimization Guide. It says to plug in any other HDDs other than the SSD after installing windows. However, I'd like to wipe my 1TB clean first, as it's just loaded with junk. How best would I go about that? Edit: I'm a fucking derp. I just formatted the drive after I installed Windows on the SSD.

I need a new mouse for my laptop but can't decide between these two. Corsair Vengeance M90 or the Razer Orochi. If you guys have any other suggestions please share them. I'm just looking for a smallish mouse, doesn't matter if it's wireless or not.
If you need 10 MB/s performance, make sure to get a class 10.
Class 10 isn't really needed too much. Class 6 is fine most of the time for video. Hell, I use my 64GB class 6 Sandisk ultra rather than my two 16GB Class 10s. I still manage about 15MB/s write on my Class 6.
Are you asking for something that will replicate or something that makes them two seperate screens? Don't think the latter is very possible.
Looking for two separate screens. I'd like to keep a triple monitor setup, but the center monitor would be the laptop.
Looking for two separate screens. I'd like to keep a triple monitor setup, but the center monitor would be the laptop.
Yeah, as far as I'm aware HDMI does not support this. I think DVI with some modifications does, though.
Looking for two separate screens. (Unless somebody makes an actual external USB video card, but I've never heard of that. It would be ridiculously slow.)
Shoot. My dream setup is impossible :( [sub][sub][sub][sub]for now[/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub]
Actually, wait, I might be wrong. Matrox makes something called a "DualHead2Go". It's about $150-$220 though.
