Okay, I have been thinking of upgrading. I have 370€, currently no more.
Thinking of:
CPU: i5 3570k 207€
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H 123€
Or ASUS P8Z77-V LK 123€
RAM: Should I go for 2x 4GB sticks (32€ - 40€) or 2x2GB (20€ - 30€)
thinking of some crucial memory (2x4GB) or some kingston memory. (1x4GB stick, would order two)
Definitely go for 4 GB ram sticks. Also the gigabyte board needs the new BIOS aac and has horrible interference on its PCIe ports (in case you wanted an audio card). The onbaord one works fine but had a quiet noise at all times.
Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB for 122 USD. Good buy, or should I get another SSD?

I'll go for the Asus then.
I currently have a low-end Gigabyte one. I used the onboard audio and when listening loudly, the highs get too high. And two of the 6 ports are broken.
I'm looking for a new cheap mouse, any suggestions?
Looking to sell PC, what would you estimate it as?
Monitor: LG FLATRON W2246T 21.5" (perfect condition, not a single scratch or dead pixel)
PC insides:
Intel i5 2500k 3.3 ghz (about 5 months old, bought in june)
P8H67-M Motherboard (bought at same time with CPU)
6 GB DDR3 1333 mhz RAM. (bought at same time as CPU)
750 WAT PSU (bought at same time as CPU)
HD5770 GDDR5 1 GB GPU (about 3 years old)
Intel 520 Series 60 gb SSD (bought at same time as CPU)
500 GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive (1 year old)
120 GB 5000 RPM hard drive. (2 years old)
And some DVD-ROM.
Will drop in also a tablet for drawing as I have no use for it.
So what would you estimate it rougly? or would it be better to sell it by parts?

I've been really busy with school and I need a day planner to keep track of things. What is a good software? I want one with a desktop or easy to access display that shows what time something is, or how many days away it is.

Hi guy's quick question.
I've got a Sapphire HD 7850 and in a lot of games it's doing things like this.
Pink tear
[t]http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/4189/vlcsnap2012102217h32m17.png[/t]
Huge Artifacts
[t]http://imageshack.us/a/img811/4792/vlcsnap2012102218h04m24.png[/t]
[t]http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/5451/vlcsnap2012102217h29m50.png[/t]
All these things usually flash up and go again within 1 frame.
I'm considering RMA'ing it. Do you guys reckon they'd fix it under warranty if it's doing this. I've tried various drivers, re seating it and putting it in other ports and it still does it.
If you haven't tried beta drivers, they worked for me before. Other than that, there's no harm in RMAing something that's still under warranty.

Can I get some help guys?
I turned off the computer when I went to bed, and the following afternoon the computer wouldn't even POST, consistently anyway. Meaning, the MoBo splash screen doesn't even pop it. It's just black.
Weird thing is that I've tried switching out the RAM sticks to see if that had any effect. I try one stick. Lo and behold it works. Once. After I restart it doesn't even POST again. After much fiddling and switching of RAM sticks, it'll work again, and the next moment it won't. So the computer is pretty much deciding when it'll work and I have no idea why or how. What the hell :C

I've also tried removing the CMOS battery. And the monitor power button lights up when the computer turns on, so it's detecting a signal at least.
Memtest it.
I thank you once again for sending me that Ubuntu-ish skin for Windows. The thing with the cube is great!...Except when it lags, wich is always :v:
Software question:
Anybody know of a good screensaver that takes photos and places them in a gridded layout? Like they'll be different sizes and all that jazz. I don't really know how to explain it more clearly and I can't find a picture of it. My friend's mac does that with her photos and I want to show mine off when I'm just hanging out in my room.
(I used to hate screensavers, I'll see how I like this using one for once)
Kind of like this but spaced apart with the photos still looking all flushed against a grid.
I'm looking for a mp3 player with buttons; not a touch screen. I'm a bit of a scrub in my mp3 knowledge, so I don't know how much of an impact on quality mp3 players have; I've been using the same mp3 player for 6 years, and the sound has been fine for me. I use nice earphones though. I would only use it to listen to music; and I listen to music on the go a lot. I was looking at the ipod shuffle, however reviews said it had poor sound quality.
Maybe an old iPod nano? I don't even understand why the fuck they needed to add touch screen to the newer ones. There's also the iPod classic but I honestly have no idea how the sound quality is on that one.
660ti and new monitor for BF3?
Or GTX 670 and keep the current 1680x1050 one I have?
note: I'll be trying to play on ultra settings with no AA.

If you do decide the 660 Ti remember to get 2GB.
I did the mistake of not getting 2GB.
I still regret it.
Both are very similar cards. 670 is a bit better generally speaking.

Do you have to use/own itunes for an iPod?
I find the notion of using Molex to PCIe totally retarded. Yet here i am, considering actually doing it. But i'm afraid that either it'll not deliver enough power OR it'll fry up everything. Using the Molex to PCIE sent with the Nvidia cards... will it hold them back?
Could someone explain the concept to me here? I find the thought of using power cables originally meant for optical and mechanical drives for power-vaacuming GFX cards to be absurd and insane. Will i be safe or will i bend my local universe?

Power is power. And the limiting factor in distributing power generally isn't the cable, but the power supply itself. And molex can almost certainly provide enough power - it was designed for the massive 5.25" full-height hard drives with a dozen platters. Those things vacuumed up their fair share of power as well.
It will most likely work just fine. I can't 100% guarantee it, just because there's a thousand weird things that could happen. But, most of the ways it could "not work" result only in it "not working", not damaging anything, unless you do something particularly stupid.
Best software for managing partitions? Preferably with a GUI and bootable from a USB drive.
Friend of mine needs to wipe an Ubuntu partition and put an NTFS one instead.
I have a big problem. I've decided to come back to Firefox browser. I moved all my old data from old browser to Firefox, I searched in options, and its nearly perfect. Only one problem is that no matter what I do, address to main page is always "http://www.newversionchecker.com/?redr=www.easiestutils.com". I dont know what it is. There are some rumours about this in the web, but pages looks dangerous for me and I don't feel really safe on them.
CCleaner, MBAM, Kaspersky, HiJack see system clear..
What I have supposed to do?

I was gonna use an Energon 1000w PSU. But i've seen two 750w Energons blow up and the 1000w has the broken return rate of an Xbox 360.
I'm considering buying this: http://www.edbpriser.dk/stroemforsyning/corsair-enthusiast-series-tx750-v2-id-4700454.aspx
Reason being that it's actually a 580 SLI rig with two Harddisks, one optical drive, 4 fans and a 3570K.
Maybe i should aim for the 850W version?

Open the web page that you want to be your home. Go to tools > options > general > and click "use current pages".
You can have multiple tabs as your homepage, which is what you're seeing there.
