gParted Just open it up with a LiveCD.
The website is giving me an error. Does anyone happen to have the latest version of the livecd somewhere
Open the web page that you want to be your home. Go to tools > options > general > and click "use current pages". You can have multiple tabs as your homepage, which is what you're seeing there.
Okay, but after restart of browser this shitty page still put itself as home page. No matter what I do...
Can't make OpenVPN hosting work on my Windows 7 computer, does anyone have a good guide?
Okay, but after restart of browser this shitty page still put itself as home page. No matter what I do...
Do you have any weird plugins installed? Quite a bit of malware does stuff like that.
Okay, I have Windows 8 on my drive, but its locked. What the arse do I do now?
Okay, I have Windows 8 on my drive, but its locked. What the arse do I do now?
Windows 8 is locked after you installed it? You might have to weigh anchor and set sail for calmer waters.
Do you have to use/own itunes for an iPod?
No. There are lots of other programs that are compatible with the iPod's database format, like MediaMonkey and Winamp.
Is this surge protector any good for the price? http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11628447 I kinda impulsed bought it cause it had ethernet ports on it.
Does anybody know some good audio drivers for Windows 7 other than Realtek?
Can someone explain to me how to directly transfer files between two PC's via an ethernet cable?
I've been wondering... do you need all the nVidia processes running? I see them in my task manager and I usually just end those processes. Is this a good or bad thing?
Might as well ask here: What's the most surefire way to know if a GPU is dead and/or the problem that doesn't involve testing another GPU or switching to integrated (mobo does not have a video out)?. It bsods me pointing to the nvidia drivers and runs fine when the drivers are uninstalled/safe mode. Quite sure its the GPU (being an old 480) but I'd like to be sure. Also don't have any spare GPUs around so can't try using another one.

After some research and combo deals i have what i think is a final build. The only part i'm still stuck on is choosing a graphics card. I have a choice between a HD 7950: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202006 and a GTX 660ti: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130809 I've read that the 7950 overclocks really well, so well you can get it to compare to a GTX 670. Plus, that promo deal is too good to pass up. I've also read that the GTX 660ti has better stock clocks, has Physx and emulates games better. Should i go with either or should i just stay with the 7870 i was going to get originally?

Its all up to you on what features you want and what performance you are looking for. I'd get the 660 ti personally because I am a closet Nvidia fanboy and I love me some PhysX
Does anybody know some good audio drivers for Windows 7 other than Realtek?
you understand that drivers are things that work with hardware and therefore you'd need a new motherboard or audio card that wasn't realtek to use non-realtek drivers, right
my isp seems to be blocking all the fucking ports how can i get rdp to work?
TeamViewer doesn't work?
I want a Windows 8 tablet, and RDC is the only client that can handle Windows 8 gestures properly, so I'd prefer to use that.

It's just a monitor, if it's from a reputable brand and has good resolution, refresh rate, and contrast ratio then buy it. There isn't much to consider for.
Okay, I have Windows 8 on my drive, but its locked. What the arse do I do now?
Please, anyone? I really need this computer up and running.
Please, anyone? I really need this computer up and running.
explain your problem in further detail please "locked" can mean a million things. Does Win8 prompt you for a password on boot?
explain your problem in further detail please "locked" can mean a million things. Does Win8 prompt you for a password on boot?
Okay, after having an SSD with Windows 8 on I copied everything to the only HDD I have in my system. After selling the SSD and trying to boot from the other disk I get "No operating system found", I then burned Windows 8 to a CD and tried the automatic repair but to no avail. I then went ahead and wanted to try the "Refresh my PC" option where I am greeted by "Shits locked yo". Gonna get some photos, brb. [editline]Did you know that anal[/editline] chkdsk and the "Refresh your PC" message: [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/NGNHXu.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/9VvopG.jpg[/t]
Wait did you just copy and paste everything from your SSD over to your HDD? Or did you clone it.
Wait did you just copy and paste everything from your SSD over to your HDD? Or did you clone it.
Since I had no internet at the time, I copy pasted it.
Since I had no internet at the time, I copy pasted it.
Permission errors.
Permission errors.
I took ownership of everything and did that trick which makes it unable to use any Metro apps for some reason. [editline]24th October 2012[/editline] And there were no errors during the copying. But if what you're saying is true, how fucked am I?
Are any of these graphics cards mildly suitable for gaming (or at least better than my goddamned 9400 GT)?
