Just bought a new keyboard and basically what it does is it stops responding in any way every 1-20 mins. The only solution i've found so far is to unplug and replug the keyboard. The keyboards a logitech G110. Super irritating. Thinking of returning the damn keyboard tomorrow.
Did you install the latest version of the software? I have an old card that needs to be replaced, this is on newegg right now http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121442 Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161379 Radeon HD 6750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 so they're both 94$, I'm looking for at least 30 fps in arma 2 and flight simulators
Installed the one on the disk. Seeing if this helps.
Yeah, I never use the disk copy if I can help it.
I tend to look at software that comes on a disk with any hardware I buy, laugh, and then snap it in half and throw it out.
I currently have an nvidia card and I'm looking at buying an ATI card to replace it. how much is gameplay affected without physx? I know only a few games take full advantage of it but I'm just curious
As far as I'm aware devs only ever use physx (ie gpu accelerated effects ofc not the engine) for aesthetic things that don't affect gameplay.
Okay, so I'm gonna be buying a laptop for general computer use like surfing the web, email, and watching 1080p HD video, will this laptop be good enough to where I can watch full HD video without skipping/lag/all that nasty stuff? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0089WLZV4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&smid=A2L77EE7U53NWQ If not, recommend me as cheap of one that'll work as possible. Thanks.
"BLOAT WARE OUT THE WAHZOO" also "I found the 2 gigs of RAM to be rather lacking, so I upgraded to 8 gigs of RAM and that leveled all of the computer's performance issues for me." Yeah Im sure he needed the 6 extra GBs for web browsing.

[editline]21st November 2012[/editline] A tablet would probably be better tbh.
OK so I revised my query: Going from a HD6450 1GB to a 6870 1GB with a 500W PSU. With a Phenom II X6 and 8GB DDR3, is this a good build that will last me a bit?

PC arrived today, spent a few hours building it and tried to run afterwards, gives me four beeps and restarts, any help? Can give specs and FYI I have a blank hard drive in it and no graphics card.
See if you can reproduce what causes it to start doing that from a fresh steam restart, and then email your findings to johnc at valvesoftware dot com (at least that's who responded to my steam bug reports when I emailed them to gabe) and he'll tell you if they do/didn't know about the bug and will fix it in the next update.
I'm not sure they would be able to do much with 1. Start steam 2. Wait unspecified amount of time 3. Steam uses 30% cpu

You're going to need to upgrade it by using someones sandy bridge CPU, or get another one.
I just read through his whole manual, there's not one. Gotta love MSI manuals.
