edit: nvm, figured it out myself. I don't think either of them are.
I'm looking at a deal for a 7770 for $69.99 CAD plus free shipping. Worth it as an upgrade to a 3650?
Should probably mention I don't really want to spend over $100 and only game at 1440x900.
How much of an improvement would there be for a Haswell computer over Ivy Bridge?
Helping people out who want to build computers in that time area it would be released.
About the same as the jump from the first gen core i3/i5/i7 to Sandy Bridge, 20-30% I think

Yeah, but what are the rest of your pc specs?

Q6600 at stock, 3GB DDR2 on an Intel D975XBX2 mobo.
Model of power supply? Not just the wattage. And at 1440x900 with a 7770 and i3-2120 I get 45 fps average on WoW with the ultra preset, Crysis on very high can get up to around 50 but in combat stays in the 30's.

I can deal with that for sure. I don't have the exact model number on hand but it's a 650W Thermaltake. I figured that could handle the 80W TDP of the 7770.
Yeah that'll work fine. Although there will be a little bit of a bottleneck with your q6600, and some more RAM wouldn't hurt.

I'm picking it up on a Black Friday sale through NCIX as well as another 4GB of RAM and possibly a CPU cooler to OC.
Which brings another question: Right now I have a weird-ass 2GB + 1GB RAM setup. For a 4-slot dual-channel mobo should I go 2GB + 2GB + 2GB and toss the 1GB stick or leave it in?

three sticks is already going to mess up your dual channel so you might as well leave in the 1GB
Are there any other fancy and beautiful music players like the Zune?
I mean like the program. I hear that Foobar was supposed to have some skin like that, but does it have all the fancy menus and stuff? Like the nice dark Quickplay menu and the smooth music thing on the bottom?
Zune sometimes fucks up a little bit and loves to eat some of my weak CPU power.
I have a legitimate key for Windows 7 Enterprise, but I don't have the installation media, help?

Download the iso from a torrent site.

Torrents break my router. if I use any torrenting client, it brings the router down.
Wait how do you have a legit key for Enterprise, I thought it was purely kms based? Is there seriously such a thing as single User Win7 Enterprise???? How would that work, considering it's the domain version of Ultimate?!

Well it is KMS based yes, I had the media for it but I lost it. I used to install Enterprise on my older machines so they can still be used. Just not running XP anymore.
So I have a 4670, and 2 monitors. Would it be possible to get a cheapo PCI video card to use so I could attach at 3rd monitor?
I have a laptop with a disc drive, and it won't boot from the disc. Booting from the disc is enabled in the BIOS, and I have done it successfully in the past. However, it lights up fine, and the tray opens when the button is pressed. Also, when booted from the hard drive, it doesn't recognize the disc at all, the drive doesn't show up in My Computer or anything. What can I do here? Is it possible that something could have gotten unplugged internally or something?
my computer makes weird high pitch noises when some games load(and only during loading, never otherwise)
what part(s) can make these noises and why?

Limit bandwidth and cut down your max connections to like 50.

Video cards, motherboards, and power supplies, coil whine.
Looking to upgrade my CPU. When I built this computer I made the shitty choice of going with AM3+, and an FX-4100 (oh god). Wondering if I should invest in a completely new Mobo and Intel CPU or continue on the AM3+ line and get an FX-8150? Budget is around 200-300 dollars I suppose.
How can I know for sure that I set up a static IP correctly?

Check your IP and see if it's what you set it to?

Anyone knows good (and free ) ways to keep a PC safe and working for a long time? Our old PC is about 3 ½ years old and in a terrible condition, and I feel bad that it was working well for such a short time. Wanna make sure my new baby works well as long as possible(aka no freezing every 5 seconds, computer crashing, corruptions and yadda yadda, you know all that shit..)
So yeah, does anyone know any good programs or tips how to keep a PC working for as long as possible?
Don't be an idiot. Those *~*FREE!!11*~* cursors aren't cursors. It's malware.
Run something like Auslogics Disk Defrag and set it to defrag when the computer is idle. Use an anti-virus program like Avast, Microsoft Security Essentials (Windows Defender on Windows 8). Run CCleaner every once in a while and keep your startup process free of programs like Steam, Skype, Pidgin etc. You may use those apps but you can launch them later, when you actually will be using them or after the PC is booted.
Personally, I block ads on all sites and then unblock them on trusted sites to support the owners of sites I like.

I have the same problem.
any program that opens many connections at once, crash my internet.
Same happens with any Serverbrowser for games, wich is frustrating.
[editline]26th November 2012[/editline]
my router only allows up to 100 connections at once.
I sent the support of the router a ticket, on how to raise it even more. about 1 year later, I got a response, wich actually helped me to raise it to 250 connections via ssh.
