XFX PSUs are made by the same people who make Corsair PSUs, what's the point of switching
And ASUS makes low-end sometimes horrible motherboards and Republic of Gamer class ones... Where are you going with this?
And ASUS makes low-end sometimes horrible motherboards and Republic of Gamer class ones... Where are you going with this?
XFX are literally the exact same quality as Corsair, sometimes even better as some Corsair power supplies are made by CWT with cheap parts while all XFX power supplies are made by Seasonic.
Motion in joy might do that but it might also be only for ps3 controllers.
Thanks. Motion in Joy is for PS3 controllers only, but I was able to find out about xInput using that. http://code.google.com/p/x360ce/wiki/MainPage
I can run games on my laptop fine, but when I'm not plugged in I get a shit framerate. Would a different battery make a difference? I've tried looking into every single power saving option to disable it, but nothing works.

Quick question. Should I get another 560ti OC 1GB for SLI or should I upgrade to another card?

This is driving me crazy, I can now hear stuff even when my Windows volume is at 0, I've been Googling for like 20 minutes trying to fix this and I can't figure it out. Heeeelp.
so i got my ssd set up and all that and i can access my HDD with no trouble, but when i go to programs to try and uninstall something i only see stuff from my SSD is there a way to stuff from both?
Did you install stuff on the HDD while booting on SSD? The uninstall list is due to the registry.
i hooked up the SSD, went to the BIOS, booted from the SSD, installed windows 7, updated to windows 8 [editline]30th November 2012[/editline] also everything that was on my desktop is gone so i'm not sure about that either
Then I'm not sure what you're asking. Why would you see anything on the programs list which is installed on the harddrive?
well i can install stuff to the harddrive right? so why can't i uninstall from it?
well i can install stuff to the harddrive right? so why can't i uninstall from it?
Because the registry is now on the Windows that's on the SSD?
they can't like share registries?
Get out.
that's not very nice these are legit questions
they can't like share registries?
No. You can point the registry in the direction of your HDD for installing programs, though. [Link]

GTX 670 is for you. You play any other game at 1920 x 1200 or lower, and like having a cool and quiet GPU? Get a GTX 670. Play games, and don't care about noise/heat (I assume you know how to OC)? Go the 7970. You play any other game at a resolution higher than 1920 x 1200? 7970. Like OCing with any game? 7970. Want to do some compute (GPGPU) stuff (if Folding go with 670)? Go with 7970.
GTX 670/HD7970
Both are close to 400 euro tho... The GTX 580 is 290-300 tho. And a very good card.

Hmm, it's a bit over budget at my retailer. How about an overclocked 660 ti or an 7950? Would they be much worse? [editline]30th November 2012[/editline] Or an 580 [editline]30th November 2012[/editline] nevermind they dont sell those at my retailer
Hear stuff from Windows? Or is it like radio signals being picked up by your speakers? or schizophrenia
Apparantly Windows 0% volume is still somehow volume somtimes. Use mute instead.. Don't have a fix.
