I get no signal turning on my system with my graphics card in.
Yes the two cables are hooked up to it, yes the fans run and the system boots, no it doesn't have a signal when i hook it up to onboard graphics, i'm hooking it into the secondary PCI-E 3.0 slot.
Please help.

Did you remove your actual graphics card when you tried this? Sometimes the motherboard will disable the onboard graphics if it picks up an actual graphics card. Mine does.
Otherwise, do the usual shit:
- Plug monitor into another graphics card that's confirmed to work
- Plug graphics card into another computer in order to see what happens
- Plug computer into toaster because I was told not to make a list of only two items
etc

Thanks for responding.
I'm currently running off of integrated graphics, so it does work without the graphics card.
I don't have any other computers right now big enough to fit it.
Could it have something to do with me plugging it into the second slot?, my first slot is err.....'dead'.
Need help with RaspBMC.
I have all the information for each film and tv show saved locally on the hard drive, so how do I get it to add that instead of searching the scrappers?
Also how do I add another tab onto the home panel called Comedians?

Doubtful.
Anyone know about the G.Skill SSDs? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231613 seems like a good deal, apparently it's quite fast as well.

Looks like a run-of-the-mill Sandforce drive. And they probably don't make their own flash, either - at least, I haven't heard of them branching into flash production, but I might not have heard.
But hey, if they aren't charging a premium for essentially slapping their logo on the drive, I see nothing wrong with it.
Does anyone know how to verify a Windows live account with a dead email?
To verify it I have the option of having a security code sent to the email (useless) or providing as many details about the account as possible and having it evaluated by Microsoft. The problem is after several hours they send me a generic email on how to reset my password, not verify the account. I did however reset the password using the secret question(the instructions actually tell you to get a reset link emailed to you) but the account still needs verification.
I've done quite a bit of searching but 90% of the solutions are outdated (even the ones <6 months old) and the remaining 10% are either kept to private messages on the Microsoft support forums or don't work. I've posted a thread on the support forums requesting help but I haven't received any response.
Anyone know a good free antivirus/scanner software? If it is possible that there is a good free one.

MSE is the only one I've found that's better than just running without AV.
Also, grab MalwareBytes. It doesn't do real-time protection, but it's good at clearing out infections once they happen.

Try adding your new email and deleting the dead email?
That's how it's about to work with my account.

As gman003-main said, MSE is free, mealtime and does a decent job at it, you do have to pay for malwarebytes for real time protection but if you are just looking for a free scan malwarebytes is good, there's also HitmanPro
It is essentially like virus total but with less scanners it just searches for exe's, dll's and cookies (it uploads any that it doesn't know of and scans them) As of now it uses G Data, BitDefender, Emsisoft, Dr. Web and recently added IKARUS so they are expanding.
If you sign up for the free 30 day trial it removes anything it finds and whatnot
Edit: I also forgot to mention that the scan is super quick
Well, you do know that Dropbox has a LAN sync option that will bypass the cloud, right?
Not actually, thanks for telling about that.
Still, it would be best if I could sync multiple folders apart from the one created by Dropbox. For now I'll have to copy things I want to sync over to the Dropbox folder instead of selecting folders I want to sync.

The only thing I am able to do with the account is reset the password. Everything else is completely locked out. Here is a screenshot of what I get whenever I try to log into the account:

Thanks for the suggestion though.
Edit: I just realised I censored the dead email, oh well.
I need a background or desktop application that gives me reminders when stuff (that i can set) is about to happen.
Does anyone know of one?
Best software for automated tagging/adding covers/organizing music?

I leave my computer on overnight, as I often have some sort of server running on it. However, it almost always seems to freeze during that time of inactivity, and I can't do anything short of rebooting. What would be a way to go about diagnosing this?

is it sleeping? my PC doesn't come out of sleep sometimes
is it sleeping? my PC doesn't come out of sleep sometimes
I turned sleeping off, since my computer would attempt to come out of sleep, and fail to do so. I got an SSD recently, and turned off hibernation for that, which may have caused that problem. Maybe it's the SSD in general, so I'm going to do a chkdsk for it. If it's some program or issue with the OS, I'd like to figure out that case then.

how important is it that you have this account
you may have to abandon it and make a new one
Hey there guys, whenever I try to play a game my hard drives freeze up, seemingly randomly, causing lag spikes and whatever else you can expect from hard drives not responding.
I have no idea what to do about it :(, can give specs if needed.
Any ideas?
sounds like your hard drive's on its way out
Was looking for a full tower case and extra fan/fans
Have this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119197
Perhaps wanted to upgrade for better cooling to this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146068
Budget is $150-$200 for case/fans

One of the hard drives that freeze up is brand new, I really hope they aren't fucked up.
Tried putting card back in, it doesn't give a signal but the computer detects it.
Tried disabling integrated graphics and i don't get a signal in either integrated or the card.
Please help.
Edit: reset the CMOS and it's back to default, card is still not giving a signal.
Edit:Sorry everyone, i went retarded and forgot to plug something in.
Everything is fine now.

It's probably under warranty if it is going bad.

About half of all hard drive failures are pretty much immediate. That's what an RMA is for.
Kinda a noob question but will formatting my harddrive remove any partitions on the drive as well?

If you format the whole drive, yes. If you format one partition, no.
