Don't know about any 24" ones but for 23" http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236292 is going to be your best bet. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005342 if you don't want the stand adjustment capability, also an HDMI version http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005364.

If you don't need IPS then http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236154 no DVI, has DisplayPort or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236102 has DVI, no DisplayPort.
Thanks for the help. Do you think IPS monitors are worth the extra cost, specifically for someone who will be using them primarily for games, movies and web browsing?
I'll do a bit more of my own research on the subject but anyone's advice is appreciated.
matte IPS monitors have noticable AG coatings btw. I cant tell if those are matte though.
Ok, have got a new laptop (Samsung NP350E7C-S02) for Uni next year, with an AMD Radeon™ HD7670M 2GB graphics card, yet I noticed games were running a lot slower than they should. Turns out the internal Intel 4000 HD graphics or whatever is being used instead. I can't find any drivers online (apparently AMD don't provide laptop drivers), and a google search doesn't yield much help. Reply in pretty simple speak please, I'm not brilliant with hardware/drivers stuff. Cheers
Edit: Downloading AMD Catalyst Control Center, apparently I can update drivers and choose which card to use with that.

What shows up in the list when you right click on the desktop? there should be something that says "Configure Switchable Graphics"
If its not there then it is probably related to the windows power saving settings i'd imagine.
Is it bad if my card gets around 30-36 celsius when idling and around 60-70 celsius in-game?

Nope, both are normal.

Thanks, that option has now appeared after installing CCC, I'll see if works
Hello, i'm looking for a 24 inch IPS/PLS monitor with great colors in the 300 (400 maximum) euro range. I've been looking at the Asus PA248Q, but i'm unsure if it gives me the "Wow!" factor of colors or not, My family have a 55 inch LG TV, and i'd like to have similar if you can help me understand a bit more about what i should be searching for, i'd be glad. Here's the link to the TV by the way. http://www.lg.com/se/tv/lg-55LM860W
I'm looking at buying a new monitor because I want a dual monitor set-up and a bigger monitor because I'm going into digital art in a big way. My current one is only 19" (only 1440x900) so I'm looking at 24" and as much under £200 as I can be without compromising picture quality.
Any advice on a specific monitor? Looking at the Samsung S24B300HL at the moment. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-S24B300HL-23-6-inch-Widescreen/dp/B0077L2LAC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1356624548&sr=8-2
but the Dell Ultrasharp U2312HM has really great reviews too, though it's a little more expensive. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dell-Ultrasharp-U2312HM-inch-Monitor/dp/B005MHMFJA/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1356624548&sr=8-7
Thoughts?

Ultrasharp monitors have a great reputation, I've never heard a bad thing.
I know this is a bit of a longshot, but do any DIY thermal compounds exist? My Asus G53Jw has gone to shit (good thing I'm getting another laptop soonish), and the GPU is hitting temperatures of 94-99 (I can cook a fucking egg in there). I opened it up and there was no dust.
And thermal paste doesn't exist in Qatar, which is why I'm asking.

The only thing I dislike about my ultrasharp is the agressive AG coating.

Toothpaste.............until it dries up. You'll have to get some online.

There should be two power cables going in to your motherboard, a 20(24)-pin ATX cable and a 4(8)-pin EPS cable
The 4 pin should be going to the top left of the motherboard in most cases, the 20 pin one on the middle right
Generally forgetting to plug these in won't do any harm.

Does your graphics card require an additional power connector? Most do. It'll probably look like a small 6-pin or 8-pin version of the one on the motherboard. Some low-power graphics cards can power themselves off the 25 watts the PCIe connection provides.
Do you have a DVD drive or the like? Those require a power connection as well. It will be either the 4-pin molex, or for newer ones the same SATA power connector as the hard drive.
Just got an ASUS P8Z77 V Pro motherboard for Christmas, along with Windows 8 Pro upgrade.
So I should install Windows 7 fresh on the new motherboard, then upgrade to Windows 8, right?
Or can I just install a fresh Win 8 with the Upgrade key to save time?

Is 70% isopropyl alcohol sufficient for cleaning thermal paste off of a cpu? I'd be using a lint free cloth, and I've never moved CPUs to a new motherboard before.
use 99-100% around electronics
I think 70 is okay for that
I know it's stupid but I didn't bother getting some paste when I moved my i3 to a new motherboard, so I just reused what was already on the stock heatsink and my temps have not changed at all. If anything they dropped, but that's probably due to the new case as well.
Got about ~$200, whats the best tablet?

Yeah, there'll still be residue but I don't think it really matters.

I've got a problem, if I boot up my PC with my new Samsung 1TB HDD, it will not come past the screen which checks for hard drives and asks if you want to go into the BIOS. It is used as a secondary drive, so another HDD is used for booting up Windows 7. What can I do to fix it?
