AMD Radeon HD 7750, good card, yea/nay? Price looks good, got a good impression from gameplay videos using it, but what's FP's stance?
[editline]31st January 2013[/editline]
I mean, either way it's a massive upgrade from my current card, but I don't want to buy it and find out there was something better for a similar pricing.
Where are you and how much are you paying for it? Rest of your specs?
So I'm going to Gambia soon and the hotel will have internet. I want to message someone on Skype, but would it be possible for the hotel to see the messages I'm sending over their network?
Shouldn't be able to, no.
Thanks

If Skype sent everything plaintext (doubtful) they might be able to listen in. However, I'm pretty sure Skype does something to the messages that makes it really difficult and/or impossible to listen in on.

Just for my curiosity's sake though, whyfor? Girlfriend? Terrible hotel? Are you a CIA agent?
I got done building my new computer and for some reason my power unit (Corsair TX750) fan doesn't turn on at the start up. I looked for a set of wires that may lead directly to the fan but there is none, should I be worried? Does the fan turn on automatically or something?

Operation Bulldozer
The Gambian leader has spoken tough of his government’s zero tolerance for all forms of criminal activity, prompting him to spearhead and launch what he called ‘Operation Bulldozer’ that will seek to weed the nation of criminals. He warned that The Gambia under his watchful eyes will not be a safe haven for criminals such as murderers, rapists, homosexuals, paedophiles, 419ers, drug and human traffickers, while deploring the heinous crimes committed in the country in recent times.

Would be nice if I was a CIA agent though :(
I'm new to the world of liquid cooling, do kits such as the H60 have the fluid in them when you buy the thing or do you buy the fluid separate.

Closed loop coolers like that have the liquid inside it already, sealed away.
I have a server running Windows Server 2008 R2, if I were to make sure it automaticly logged in to the administrator account (just in the background - not so you could do anything) what would I do? ^^

So you want to have applications running in the background? I'm sure how Windows Server works in regards to this, though I think you could turn the application into a service.
Is moving pagefile from SSD to another HDD recommended if I need space on my SSD? Don't want to break something on windows but it's pretty big and I don't want to decrease size of pagefile or delete it.

Yeah you can move it to an HDD and it'll be fine

Thank you, it was 16gb which was taking up a bit more space than i'd like. (It was auto set as 16gb btw)
I'm a bit paranoid about how much space I have left, the SSD is only 128gb and I don't like it being less than 80 left until I get more programs on it.

16 GB pagefile? How much RAM do you have?

You can also disable "system protection" (system restore) to gain a good chunk of space back if you're comfortable with the compromise. Win+Pause / Advanced system settings / System protection tab / Click drive with protection enabled / Configure.
16 GB pagefile? How much RAM do you have?
8gb, as I said, I didn't set it manually. 16gb is what windows set it to.

Windows is being dumb, you should just set it to 4GB. I have 6GB of RAM and a 1GB page file and I never have any issues with any game on top of 20 tabs of chrome, steam, origin, a bitcoin miner, and 5-10 smaller background programs.
It would be a waste of space to leave it like that, because I can promise you there's nothing making any use of it.
I'm trying to add files to my iTunes library and I get this

How do I fix this?
Closed loop coolers like that have the liquid inside it already, sealed away.
Cheers
i'm trying to overclock my radeon 7770. Its default settings are 1020mhz and 4600mhz. Everytime I bump it up to 1100mhz and 4650mhz my games will start to drop to around 5-10 fps and I need to restart to fix it. Am I going to high for this card?
8gb, as I said, I didn't set it manually. 16gb is what windows set it to.
With 8 GB, you should be able to run Windows without a page file at all, unless you have any programs that like to bitch about it (I know the older Adobe CS products will).
so i have a g400 and i like to use the side button that's bound as the "back button" for stuff like teamspeak, so when i'm trying to talk while browing the web i end up going back a page
i've tried unassigning the button but when i do that, it doesn't let me use it at all, and when i try to assign it to something its still won't let me do anything with it
any ideas?
Alright, I'm in need of a budget sound card that either eliminates microphone white noise, or has a cancellation technique to it, I'm willing about less than $20. Anyone know any?
Also looking for a good mouse and keyboard that's wireless I could use, and preferably the mouse is accurate to the dot. Been having to live with these problems forever.

Really? I'll try that. I've never had problems with running out of RAM anyway. Played BF3 fine while having photoshop, 3DS max and Sony vegas open in the background (while vegas was rendering a video) fine (memory and FPS wie and such)

Probably because PS and 3DS Max were suspended in the page file >.>
I've got an MSI 670 PE card, what are some safe clocks I can push it to immediately that I really don't have to worry about it crashing.
Boost clock is at 1100 mhz and mem clock is at standard 6008 mhz
Just boost it to the 680 specs, it's the same hardware basically.
