Huh, my nearest Micro Center is 20 miles away, guess I should jump on that deal on the 3770k?
what FPS are you getting
well in battlefield 3 since the afterburner OSD is running my framerate is brought down a ton ( average is around 20-60 fps) however, right when i close the OSD my framerate stays at an average of 90 or so with everything maxed. also, it seemed when i was playing with the OSD running the usage % for all four gpus increased as my fps increased ( looking up into the sky got me around 70%) so maybe usage is normal when im not running the OSD since my fps improves a ton. also i wish i knew what average frame rate I'm supposed to be getting with two 6990's in crossfire at 1920x1200.

Micro Center always has really low prices.
I got a 2500K and a (somewhat crappy) ECS motherboard together for $170ish there last June.
I've been getting this problem for a while now in google chrome, anyone know how to fix it?

It happens on some other websites as well, but not all. Doesn't happen in other browsers.
Just re-install chrome. Or, disable all of your plug-ins if you have any and check if it still does it.

As far as I'm concerned, the places pictured are literally the worst goddamn places on Facepunch.
ITNN can stay though.
General discussion used to be very entertaining, now it's just country, transvestite and dragon dick chat threads.
Seriously how is that crossdressing thread so huge. The fuck?
It's also the transgendered thread. Yes, there are crossdressers and transgendered people in the world!
What's the name of that website that behaves like WinMerge that Garry always uses?
In other words, what's a good website that will take two samples of text and compare them to each other, to show you what's been changed?
I just installed a Xonar DG and most of my USB devices aren't being recognized and my mic isn't showing under recording devices. How can I fix this?

The mic I'm using is USB
If it helps I get a "Device driver was not successfully installed" message when plugging in PnP usb devices.
Edit:
I restarted and for a few minutes all of the usb devices worked (except the mic, which still wouldn't show under recording devices) and then when windows tried to automatically install drivers, all of them stopped working.
Is this all USB ports? Just the front? Have you tried the back? Motherboard model? CPU? USB 3 ports work, if you have them?

Only some, it's more likely the devices; both front and back; P55M-UD2; i7 855; No USB 3.0 ports
The USB devices that don't work: Samson GoMic, USB 2.0 Hub; Wacom Tablet
Edit:
Samson Go Mic and Hub are both lit up so they're obviously getting power from the usb.
Someone please show me a free and possibly easy to use movie maker so I can delete Windows Live Movie Maker. Such a horrible, fucking program. Worse than its predecessor. All I want to do is fade directly from one picture to another but nope, too complicated for the geniuses at Microsoft to make.

that's pretty easy to do with WMM
that's pretty easy to do with WMM
Yeah but this is its disabled son Windows LIVE Movie Maker. You can only Fade to black and Fade to white. You can't overlap the pictures like in old WMM to have them fade from one to another directly.

Try blur.
Try blur.
That still doesn't give me the direct picture-to-picture fade effect I'm looking for. The transition is still abrupt and it also pointed out another flaw. You can't directly split images into two segments in the "timeline". You have to copy and paste and then adjust the times to what you wanted it to be. Windows Live Movie Maker is a piece of shit. I'm not going to use it to make my video. I have to find a replacement.

Overclocked my CPU and was wondering if these temps were safe. I doubt they are.

Windows Movie Maker 2.6 for Vista, works fine on Windows 7 though you might need to run the installer in compatibility mode (I can't remember :v:)
Found one. Videopad Video Editor by NCH. If anyone else wants to try it here
Despite it saying Purchase, you can download it immediately from their website without paying anything. It's like the Blockbuster of Video Editors, try before you buy, but you can try for as long as you want.
To the person who thought that USB 1.6 meant USB 1.6 meters, you were right...
also, microSD card class 10 patriot, it said that on the packaging that it writes at a minimum of 10MB/s, where it NEVER EVER has gotten to anything over 9.99MB/s. Defective card?

Before you decide it's defective, make sure any devices it's being used with have that sort of bandwith. Something else could be bottlenecking it. If nothing is bottlenecking it, then it could be defective.

I've used a few card readers, I've used different computers (and not multitask or do anything else to possibly slow down the write speed). I don't think it has anything to do with what device is writing into the card, I think it's just the cards problem.
I think it's just a cheap card
I think it's just a cheap card
Well, it was $40 and I can still get another one of the same if it is really defective. I better not get hit with a restocking fee of some sort.
