Can you guys ensure me if gigabyte gtx 560ti is gonna be compatible with my gigabyte fsb 1066 ga-945gcmx-s2? I understand its power wouldn't be fully used since i have core 2 duo, but I need to buy the graphics card quickly, before the rest of the hardware(processor, motherboard) later. Quick help much appreciated!

Are the first gen bulldozers worth holding onto my AM3+ mobo for a bit longer (as I may upgrade to one eventually from my Phenom II), or should I consider investing in a new socket?

copied a rar archive to a dvd on my dad's computer running vista x64, the bluray drive on my computer won't see the archive and it says it has 0 bytes free and 0 bytes used went on my brother's computer to see if it would work, also running vista x64, and he could see the archive help

What should I be thinking, or looking for if I'm looking for a new processor? Any links to how I would install it too? Thanks :>

Most of my usb devices are giving "No driver found/ Could not successfully find drivers" errors. Would reinstalling windows 7 have a chance at fixing this or am I wasting my time? I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers in Device Manager, I've tried the /scannow command in cmd, and I've tried reinstalling the USB controllers.

So, I have got a non-working pc. It doesn't pass the POST, because I didn't hear any beep at all, this suggests that either the memory or the power supply is faulty, am I right? My mother said that the pc stopped working when her dog flipped the powerswitch of the electricity socket. She could boot one more time resulting in a blue screen, and now it doesn't work at all.

Obviously I don't want to risk my computer blowing up, so please let me know if I need a new PSU and any recommendations you may have. I was going to wait for the nVidia 685(GK110) to come out but I can't see any benefit of waiting, but I'm open to debate. Anyone want to throw me a price for this computer PSU Corsair TX750W (v1) HDD 1TB WD CB and ~300gb WD XFX 4870 AMD phenom II 2.5ghz quad (I don't even remember the model number at this point) mobo is dead. case and AM cooler round to $50 etc round to $20 all but the 1TB hard drive are old (~2009) he paid 600 for it when he got it.

As far as the audio, hook up a [URL="http://www.amazon.com/Playstation-Analog-Component-Sony-2-3/dp/B0032Z4OMA"]multi-out cable[/URL] and tell the PS3 to use AV MULTIOUT for audio output, and get an adapter cable for [URL="http://www.amazon.com/Stereo-Splitter-3-5mm-Audio-Adapter/dp/B0009JFF7A/ref=sr_1_17?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1336030113&sr=1-17"]RCA audio to 3.5mm[/URL] (both ends female) so you can hook up the L and R audio to a speaker.
