I think it looks pretty cool actually. I think all the illiterates here are just bandwagoning.
Looks pretty cool but maybe the whole modular concept would work better for server boxes rather than home/lan rigs. It seems a bit unreliable, with all that mesh its bound to attract a shitton of dust but at least it seems lightweight. I'd take a standard case over it because it seems poorly executed.
I was expecting to get impressed by it's looks but when I saw it choked for a second. Wahhahaha, looks like a frame and some filters. While it may be good for the pc, it's certainly an eye sore.
If it was <$100, it might be slightly reasonable. But hell, at $200, you can get pretty much any LL case on the market, and enjoy a build quality that far surpasses that of Antec. I paid $200 for my B10, and I'd take it any day over that piece of steel and plastic (not even much of the steel since its mesh) shit.
its a piece of shit, antec need to fire the retards who design there cases and hire people who understand airflow. you would have to have a mental deficiency to purchase the lanboy air rather than something like a fractal design r2/r3 lol at him saying its positive pressure in that video, maybe with all 15 fan slots filled putting out 50db+ if you want a possitive pressure case go buy a silverstone fortress ft01/02 same price doesnt look like a piece of Meccano and is silent
You're dumb. First of all, you don't need 15 fans. Second of all, four fans at 1000 rpm will make less noise than one fan at 4000 rpm (assuming they are the same size). Third of all, there's something called taste, not everyone likes the same thing, that doesn't mean that people who like something else than you has a mental deficiency.
Someone has different opinion = bandwagon
everyone has same opinion without supplying valid reasoning = bandwagoning
All the holes just detract from the wind tunnel a case is suppose to provide.
Windtunnel's so mid/early decade. This shit's where it's at for the next one.
Windtunnel's so mid/early decade. This shit's where it's at for the next one.
Then why just not have no case at all?
Tech benches.
Then why just not have no case at all?
Dust pileup :v:
everyone has same opinion without supplying valid reasoning = bandwagoning
Are you daft? There's bunch of reasons, like the fact that it's made of mesh so it will be noisy as fuck, have bad airflow and will collect all the dust
Except it's still designed to "create positive airpressure and blow the dust away" [editline]10:13AM[/editline] Hehehe, "daft"... Nice word, perhaps'll start using it more actively...
For the first of its kind, it's not THAT bad. I mean, they have a great new innovative idea for modular cases, but the way they applied it was pretty much all they could do; they had no other models to base it off of for reference. I'm sure we'll see much better modular cases in the near future that will be inspired by this case.
