Do you seriously need 12 GB RAM? Get 6GB.
Yeah, there's extreme, and there's waste of money. You are jogging in waste territory man.
Any suggestions on what to change beside the ram?
Don't know about Asus's screens, but I know Samsung is a solid brand:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001378&cm_re=syncmaster-_-24-001-378-_-Product Got a Samsung myself, serves me well.

Can anyone suggest a blue ray drive and a mother board with usb 3.0 thats all I need before I buy <3
I don't think you would need a bluray drive. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827106325 If you really want it.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131641 That should be a good motherboard. Also, I don't think you should go with the i7 950, but you should go with the 920 and use the saved money to invest in a better SSD with a higher capacity, as storing more programs on an SSD would show more real world performance than the higher clocked processor. Intel makes the best SSDs. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167016
If you're going to overclock with your processor (which I hope you do, it'd be a shame if you spent all that money and didn't overclock) I'd suggest an aftermarket cooler, like TRUE or the Hyper 212+ so you can overclock the 920 to 4Ghz. It'll really help boost your performance in gaming.
get better cards than those 2
Intel makes the best SSDs.
Not anymore.
OCZs are wicked SSDs
Get a dual/triple screen setup.
Dual sucks, triple FTW. When you play games with DUAL you have a massive messed up gap of the screen where the XHair should be
