for this headset yes they're overpriced they're complete shit and you shouldn't be buying a headset in the first place unless you do phone work or something
because I don't want a shitty desktop or clip on mic. I prefer a headset, not headphones with a separate mic. Please explain in detail why I should cancel this headset. Because, for the price range, they got the best review. [Editline]a[/Editline] Such a baby, rate me dumb because I rated your post dumb. Real mature.

This is the case in every single headset i've ever seen, you pay more for a the convenience of a single package, and get lower quality components. By the way, where are you getting "shitty desktop mic"?
Hi guys. I am in need of your assistance. A few months ago my bird chewed into my mouse wire. Just recently it succumbed to it's wounds and won't work anymore. My computer won't turn on with it plugged in due to a "USB overcharge" issue, or something along those lines. Anyways, I need a nice, quality gaming mouse. I really need your guys assistance because no matter how hard I try to find a quality computer product, I always end up with some piece of shit that breaks and burns a hole in my wallet. Suggestions? EDIT: Also, what do you guys think of this? http://www.swswholesale.com/logitech-mx518gaming-gradeopticalmouse.aspx
So, is there a steam help thread anywhere here? If not I could ask here. I get the "Steam servers are too busy to handle your shitface" error, but only on 1 account. I get on my other account and it works fine. I can run and install games without issues. I can't install borderlands and I really want to play it :saddowns:
Anyone else that has actually owned the fatality headset to help me?
So me and my nephew managed to get a keyboard plugged into a 360. We figured out every button except start. The problem? Consoles for some inexplicable reason require you to press start before actually using the menu. So my question is WHERE THE FUCK IS START?!
Still need an answer to this. Alternatively, if this is impossible (which I highly doubt, because every other button has a keyboard equivalent), how do I plug a 360 drive in and access the files on it? The drive itself works fine, but Google only gives me stupid questions like "I DELETED MY SAVE GAME HOW DO I GET IT BACK"

Would spray painting a HSF (not the contact part) reduce its performance?
Would spray painting a HSF (not the contact part) reduce its performance?
If you block off any of the space between the fins, then yes.
If you block off any of the space between the fins, then yes.
Just a light coating on the metal, I wouldn't cake it on and block airflow. also where were those legal win 7 downloads? Should I get a new monitor when I get my new computer or should I just hook it up to my 26" HD telly?
Should I get a new monitor when I get my new computer or should I just hook it up to my 26" HD telly?
It depends on the television, it might have a really delayed response time, making everything feel laggy.
What are some good CPU heatsinks for overclocking i5 2500k? I'm thinking about the CM 212+ just because of all the positive feedback it's getting (Has to fit in define R3 case). I'm also looking for a few good case fans. Low noise + high CFM. Price isn't really an object as long as it's reasonable.
If you want high CFM and low noise, get get 212+ Be Quiet!'s Dark Rock PRO would be perfect. I'm also reliably informed it would fit in the Define R3 (a few pages back.) [editline]30th August 2011[/editline] Is there any equivalent to Danger Den's cases for the UK?
sorry but i owned these for only about a week earlier this year, and they were a terrible experience (by the way if you're trying to compare them to a700's do try to use a sound card instead of your shitty integrated audio because i honestly doubt you did)
I remember my experience with Fatal1ty's... Never again.
They're not very good, but for $30 they're "ok". And how dare you compare them to A700s Odellus.
Well this isn't helping. I'm getting many reviews saying they are very good for the price. Then I'm getting others saying I should stay completely clear of them. Okay, how about this. What do you guys recommend for under $40? I want a headset, not headphones and a separate mic.

You can probably get a headset which is meant for skyping / video calling but I can't imagine the sound quality would be very good Why do you need a headset as opposed to headphones + mic? It's not like you'll be using the mic every time you put the headphones on, and the quality of a dedicated mic will be much better than the quality of a mic they just stuck to a pair of headphones, which also aren't great quality because they're not dedicated headphones, they're part of a headset

I have a dedicated headphone right now, and I love it ( hd 201), but I'd rather have a mic built into the headset. If there truly is a better dedicated headphone and mic that is better than my 201's for under $40, then let me know.

If there truly is a better dedicated headphone and mic that is better than my 201's for under $40, then let me know.
I have a $50 microphone mounted on a $14 boom arm attached to a $5 base plate, a $2 microphone adapter, with a $1 pop filter I made. I spent about $100 total for my whole audio setup and I doubt I'll ever have to buy anything ever again until I want to upgrade to something better, rather than because they break like headsets do because of low build quality and thinner, easy to break cables. Not only would you spend less in the long term, but you end up having much better sound quality (from the microphone and the headphones). Clip on mics and such really aren't that great, but they usually aren't as bad as what you're saying. You just have to mess with some settings. I don't really have a problem with headset users, once I used them too and thought they were the best thing ever, I just wouldn't ever recommend them to anyone for most purposes because there are much better options. Get the fatalitys if you want to, they probably work just fine. If you're into modding stuff, though, I'd totally just buy one of these http://www.amazon.com/Black-Mini-Microphone-3-5mm-Samsung/dp/B004PY1WCW/ref=sr_1_361?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1314732035&sr=1-361 and make my HD201 a headset, that would be awesome. Does anyone know how to recover a yahoo email. My friend either forgot his password or it got changed. He said it's an old email so he doesn't remember a lot about the details.

[editline]30th August 2011[/editline] That reminds me. I remember I lost my Runescape account when I was younger. I filed a support ticket, detailing all my skills, stats, items, and they gave it back to me.
This is going to sound REALLY stupid and I know I should know how to do this, but I've always had problems with iTunes and can never figure out how to correctly backup a library and the songs in it and all of that. I got a new laptop today and I'd like to know how I'd go about copying my library currently on my desktop over to my laptop. In other words, I'd have the exact same library with all the playlists and song titles and album artworks and EVERYTHING on the laptop exactly how it is on my desktop. Anybody know how I'd do this easily without having to re-name a bunch of tracks or re-looking up album artworks and other stuff like that?
I re-enabled paging with a 256 MB pagefile, since nobody here managed to figure out why Windows 7 was freaking out, I made it small hoping it would stop paging memory thats actually being used (to stop it from making everything lag like shite) Now, obviously, that didnt work, instead it dissallowed access to another 200MB of memory, crippling me even more This is driving me insane since I cant enable it (I could, but my computer would just sit writing to the hard drive constantly, and everything would be slow as fuck) And of course, Microsoft gives no info about registry keys relating to paging at all
Is there a dedicated 'router' linux distro with like a web page activated by default for port forwarding and stuff? i mean a distro for a PC not a distro for a router or something :V
