Also if anyone's wondering you can get a decent looking PC setup for relatively cheap if you're looking for one with Christmas money £220 or $3XX.XX.
Is this a good deal?

yeah, pretty good
motherboard's a bit shit though, pointless having a 2500K when you can't overclock
if you take that into account and get an i5 2400 build instead, it might be cheaper
Shit, I forgot to mention, it'll be in there for 2 hours. Will it still be okay?
Yeah, but anything more than 2 and you'll come back to a puddle!
Someone has offered to trade me their parts for mine
His
i7 920
Asus rampage II Extreme X58
Corsair H50 water cooler
6GB corsair dominator DDR3 1333
Mine
AMD Phenom II X4 955 BD @ 3.8GHz
GIGABYTE 770T-USB3 MoBo
GSkill Rip Jaws 8GB 2x4GB DDR3 1333
Now I have been reading some reviews on the i7 920 vs 955 and have mixed feelings
Otherwise I think it is a more than fair deal

So I'm having problems accessing Russian sites (Chrome). Trying to go on them results in Google Chrome saying "Oops! This link appears broken". For some reason it only happens to some Russian websites, not all of them. I've tried clearing cookies and that didn't help. Best mouse for gaming?
Wireless isn't necessary or really even wanted, USB is fine.
I want something where the buttons will actually still work after a few years, the ones on my current mouse are getting spongy and won't always register properly.
No stupid fucking lights either.

I'd recommend the Logitech G500. It's the mouse I use. It's a laser mouse, so it doesn't spazz out if you move it too quickly like optical mice always seem to do. It allows you to adjust its DPI setting on the fly between up to 5 different settings and has a little weight cartridge and little weights that you can insert into the underside of the mouse if you wish to do so.
The only real complaints I've seen is that the paint starts to wear a bit after a while.
i7 920 vs. i7 2600k
And what is the best Motherboard for Overclocking for $150-$175

Well I am between these two motherboards
http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=24714908
Is there anything in that build that could be replaced with something cheaper and not impact performance much?

it's very cheap and has "Lifetime Limited Warranty" so you can probably get it returned if it dies
And why isn't my second 6870 showing up?

Anyone know why I can't move a 6.11 mkv file from my PC to a 320gb portable HDD through USB 2.0?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.729070
Hopefully that combo is still good this Saturday

Shit I was just reading those reviews and they dont too promising on that motherboard
consumer reviews are made by idiots, and in general people will loudly complain but only praise silently
asus is one of the top mobo manufacturers, people just expect products to be perfect with a 0% failure rate then get angry when theirs is DoA instead of just RMAing
the combo should still be there, it's been around ages
Anyone know why I can't move a 6.11 mkv file from my PC to a 320gb portable HDD through USB 2.0?
Fat32 doesn't allow for files larger then 4GB in size. Format it to NTFS or zip the file into 2 or more parts lwss than 4 GB each.
[editline]22nd September 2011[/editline]
note: some devices (TV, consoles maybe) won't read NTFS. If it's just for PC use, NTFS is the way to go. Macs can't write to NTFS by default though.
