So I have an old P4 computer that I want to put Linux on, and am planning on using a 500GB hard drive I have laying around (only extra I have). Can I plug the extra HDD in this computer, download Linux and install it on the 500GB HDD from this computer?
Looking to get a new system for bf3.. I thought i could make do with what I had but it sees like its time.. Current specs: Antec TP 3.0 550w 8800gt 4gb DDR2 800 Corsair e6600 evga 680 sli Now, should i go for an q6600/cooler and new video card (560ti) to tie me over? I really do not want to fuck with a complete build right now unless i really have to. If I were then I'd have to go i7 2600k/motherboard, 4gb ddr3, 560ti, and a more powerful psu. What seems like the better choice?
Just bought that HP 25 inch monitor, I'm really impressed so far.
Open a video in MPCHC>then follow my directions. Edit: 2500 posts!
How do I open the video in MPCHC? I don't quite understand.
How do I open the video in MPCHC? I don't quite understand.
Have you tried right clicking your Blu-Ray in the My Computer window, selecting Open with... and then navigating to the Media Player Classic install directory, and selecting the .exe?
What processor? A hyper 212+ should be more than enough a normal overclock, if it's something like a 2500k then just get a 212+/212 Evo or that new one cooler master released that Satanix has been seen making love to.
Haha what? :( All I said was that there was a new one :S
Have you tried right clicking your Blu-Ray in the My Computer window, selecting Open with... and then navigating to the Media Player Classic install directory, and selecting the .exe?
So I did all the steps. But, when I open the blu-ray in MPCHC, it crashes.

Will my BIOS save after I reformat?
Will my BIOS save after I reformat?
BIOS isn't stored on your harddisk, so if you reformat nothing will happen to your BIOS.
BIOS isn't stored on your harddisk, so if you reformat nothing will happen to your BIOS.
And will my overclock save as well? I would assume so.
So I'm buying a 2TB hard drive this weekend that I'll be using in an old Dell desktop into a file server that I'll be using to host files for my friends and possibly my High School Robotics team. I'm not sure where to start but I need some suggestions on server operating systems, remote desktop software, and help and guides that would be useful for learning basic server maintenance and use seeing as this is my first time.
For games? No. Yes you can, quite comfortably too, do it.
For Web Browsing(I have a lot of tabs)
