Why would you ever need 16xA unless for bragging rights?
cause it looks nicer than 8 in games where i can run it? (ie source) so is there any way to?
Can't you enable 16xAA in source directly? I'm able to with my 6870.
Can't you enable 16xAA in source directly? I'm able to with my 6870.
My HIS 6870 wont go above 8x for some reason
So does anyone know where I can get a windows 7 starter ISO?
there are legal downloads of windows 7 isos, just search
there are legal downloads of windows 7 isos, just search
I found all but starter, but I found how to make a universal disk so that works.
My HIS 6870 wont go above 8x for some reason
anyone? :v:
anyone? :v:
All you can do is try different drivers, maybe a GPU BIOS update?
maybe a GPU BIOS update?
how can i do this/where do i find new bios
I just overclocked my 2500k to 4.5 ghz, and it was getting up to about 63-65c after an hour of Bad Company 2, should I tune the overclock down a bit? Cooler is a Hyper 212 Evo. It idles around 40c though, so I'm happy with that.
Shouldn't worry about it. If it hits 70c then i'd tone it down a bit.
Alright thanks. I should probably run Prime95 for a few hours and see how that goes...
how can i do this/where do i find new bios
http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/ make sure it's the same card, at least the same PCB, RAM amount, and GPU.

Quick question, someone gave me this as a gift, and I need some tips on how to do it. But more importantly, what do I do with it after I've completed it?
I idle around 32C and get 52C on load with a Hyper 212+ with an overclock of 4.6GHz.
Hmm, could I have put too much thermal paste on? I have a HAF 912 case if that changes anything. I also have an additional case fan, could it be wise to put that on the cooler instead and see how it goes?
The USB fittings that are commonly used in Cases, if you can aquire a fitting for that and wire it, you should be able to to use it like plug and play. maybe make an USB temp sensor[if you can] (obvious I know)
Excuse my blatant lack of knowledge here, but plug and play for what?
Are there any widgets that can split a DVI connection to two devices with a switch that toggles them? I've tried to just swapping the cable but I can't get a picture to display unless the device is restarted, so it needs to be able to keep both "active" or whatever.

Im thinking of buying an 560 Ti, and when the price gets lower i'll buy another one for SLI, is that a good idea? Correctly spelled? And if i did buy another one, does it need to be exactly the same from the same manufactror or can it be any 560 Ti.
That is a good idea, and it can be any 560 Ti.
Any 560 Ti should sli with another, and it's a pretty good idea. (and it's a, not an)
Reap, any opinion on the Be Quiet! Pure Power L8 530W? I looked on Johnnyguru like you suggested, nothing from that series. I know that overall Be Quiet! is a pretty reliable brand, but I couldn't find any reviews in English. I found one in German, but it was confusing through a translator.
Apparently they're not bad, not many reviews on them so far but they hold true and the OEM is decent.
Adobe Flash Player keeps telling me to update to 10.2, but only when I launch the computer with no internet connection. If I should enable an internet connection it updates. But it will still ask me to update to 10.2 if I were to start the computer up again without an internet connection.

What would you guys recommend for a good sound card?
they're overpriced
They're the cheapst modular power supplies you can buy without going diablotek.
I think silverstone power supplies are pretty decent, they look awesome and are decent and good priced
