I've been having a strange stuttering problem with Crysis lately. It seems that the sound doesn't quite play right and it sort of cracks and pops sometimes. I think it may have to do with only having integrated sound and not a dedicated sound card. Here's a Speccy screen of my rig.
I need a new headset + mic, mostly gaming stuff, budget is around (or less than, preferably) US$80. Recommendations? Thanks.
Right now I have a shitload of websites in Chrome and I have to leave. I don't want to lose these links, is there a way I can "save" the websites I currently have and "load" them the next time I come to the computer?
2 quick questions. I have an AMD Athlon II P320, believe at 2.1 gHz, a Radeon HD4200, and 2 gigabytes of RAM. Can I run STALKER:SoC with decent FPS on lowest settings? Also, what is the most likely reason that my CPU and GPU are running at nearly 70 degrees C?
I have an AMD Phenom II X6 1090T, is it worth upgrading to an Intel 2500K or should I wait for the Ivy bridges?
Wait, 1090T is more than capable.
So it's not worth it?
Not at all, 1090T is great keep it.
So I just bought Crysis 2, but I am unfortunately forced to use Origin. I'm assuming it's dependent on Origin in the same vain as most Steam Works games or can I uninstall Origin once the game is fully installed?
pretty sure you can get rid of origin for Crysis 2
So I may uninstall Origin after it's installed and I won't have any problems? Also, Origin doesn't really seem all that bad so far, it's not using much RAM, it's interface is as comprehensible as anything else, and It's downloading Crysis 2 at an adequate speed. I honestly don't have much to complain about.

I have my Crysis Special Edition retail box here but I lost the actual game disc, I still have everything else including the CD key, is there any way I can get it on Origin through EA or something?

They added Burnout Paradise to my account since I proved I had a legit copy, require a photo with the date, ticket number, and a signature as proof.
-snip- doesn't matter

Guys, any ideas why my download speed is around 30 kb/s and my upload shows as 5 mb/s. The download speed is correct, but wonder why my upload is 5 mb/s and i can barely upload a picture on a site. Well the download speed isn't correct neither, it should be around 6 mb/s but really it's 30 kb/s
I made a batch file to automatically upload any text files in a certain folder to a web server It puts the text files in the right place on the web server, but they are all 0kb, completely empty. [editline]15th October 2011[/editline]
@echo off echo user USER> ftpcmd.dat echo PASS>> ftpcmd.dat echo bin>> ftpcmd.dat echo cd /public_html/directory/>>ftpcmd.dat for /f %%f in ('dir /b c:\directory\') do echo put c:\directory\%%f>> ftpcmd.dat echo quit>> ftpcmd.dat ftp -n -s:ftpcmd.dat ftp.SERVER.com del ftpcmd.dat for /f %%f in ('dir /b c:\directory\') do del c:\directory\%%f
Why don't any of the files on the web server contain data?

I have a problem. my front and back fans won't turn on. Heres the details I plugged the front and back fans together by the big plugs and plugged the little plug onto the mobo. there was 4 big plugs, each fan had a male and female, and the back fan had a little 3 pin mobo connector. The front fan's 3 pin mobo plug was plugged into a cable which went to the 2 big plugs. i was wondering, do the fans need to be attached to the PSU? or just the mobo?
Attach them to the psu if they're not working when plugged into the motherboard.
Attach them to the psu if they're not working when plugged into the motherboard.
ok. what do i do about the female big plugs coming out of the fans? theres no plug for them.
Is it at all viable to start a custom PC building business? Not necessarily high-end like Milkyware, but more to suit the general (poor) population
