Can somebody instruct me how to set up which of my two monitors programs will automatically launch in? Anyone know of any good, free .GIF animation programs?
Already ordered it. I didn't order it BECAUSE of the VRAM, but it was a version of an already good card with more memory. Card I ordered: GeForce GTX 460 2GB 256-bit GDDR5
Not a bad card, but for that price you could've done better.
Yeah, shouldn't get a GTX 460 when there's a GTX 560.
Alright, my computer's second (2004, 120GB) hard drive is starting to sound like a Geiger counter. I know it's death will come soon. What is the best 1TB hard drive I can get besides the Spinpoint F3 (because Newegg is out of stock)
Yeah, shouldn't get a GTX 460 when there's a GTX 560.
Well, looks like I fucked up. Oh well. Thanks for pointing that out though, I should look for that kind of stuff in the future.
Want an IPS monitor, would like it to be at least 1080p, preferably under £250 Is Dell U2312HM my best choice?
I'm looking to get a second fan to add to my Hyper 212 Evo cooler, and am not really sure what fan to get...anyone have suggestions? I don't really want to spend more than $20 on a fan for this.
I just installed a new monitor but for some reason in the screen resolution options it shows that there is a second monitor. When I take a print screen it shows the main screen and some other part of a screen. I only have one monitor plugged in.

In most cases this automatically detects the absence/presence of a monitor and does the basic adjustments for you. If that didn't do it, then click on the oddball monitor in Screen Resolution options and use the "Multiple displays" drop-down box to select 'show only on [1 or 2]' (depends on the number assigned to the real monitor).
Could sunlight leaking in be fucking with my fiber optic connection? My dog dug up part of the line, and chewed a bit of the cladding up, and now I get full speed at night, but dial-up speeds during the day.
Yes it can.
Kill your dog

Don't forget Akasa S-Flow or mid-speed gentle typhoon.
Don't forget Akasa S-Flow or mid-speed gentle typhoon, and I wouldn't recommend the penetrators for heatsinks, they're fantastic for airflow but not for direct CFM.
Due to the nature of a heatsink, the warmest part is closest to the CPU. Would only want the air penetrator as exhaust though. [editline]26th October 2011[/editline] Or you could get the amazing but overpriced Noctua fans.
Wait I confused myself, I meant, penetrators are good for heatsinks because they direct their 'airflow' but not the other way around, my bad.
I'm really used to Windows 7 Ultimate. Would I lost some kind of important functionality in Windows if I decided to buy Home Premium, or is it just aesthetics?
I'm really used to Windows 7 Ultimate. So probably nothing you'll most likely use no.
Also the ability to quickly change the system language to urdu or sinhali for whatever reason you'd want to do that.
I still to this day can see no use to that other than two people of different language preferences sharing the same computer.
Random question, I have a GTX 460 at the moment and it's brilliant for me. A mate of mine is selling a HD 5850 Sapphire Toxic card for £120, is it worth grabbing for that price and will it make much of a difference for me?

A 5850 is only slightly better, anyways.
120 is a really bad price for a used 5850, especially when you're coming from a GTX 460. [editline]26th October 2011[/editline] Doesn't matter, decided to get a GTX 560 Ti some time next month and use it with my 460.
120 is a really bad price for a used 5850, especially when you're coming from a GTX 460. A 5850 is only slightly better, anyways.
Sapphire was selling off brand new 5850's for £113...
Coolermaster Sickleflow Scythe Slipstream Silverstone Air Penetrator Bitfenix Spectre The wierd-shaped NZXT ones too. all of them are pretty good.
I think I'm going to go with the Scythe one as it is on sale. But for adding it, should it be blowing the opposite direction as the first one, or the same direction? Because if it sends the air in the opposite direction, it blows it on the back of my GPU.
Alright, Thought I'd install my CD/DVD-rom. Went ahead getting the two cables, ide 40 pin and the power connector. Now the problem is, I could not find a single place on the motherboard to connect the 40 pin cable. I'm not very into the Evolution of CD/DVD-Roms, and wondering if this is an old connection setup which isn't used anymore. Or simply my motherboard has no support for CD/DVD-Roms (Really?). Motherboard: 990fxa-ud3.

Or the drive has a SATA and IDE, just get a SATA cable and connect it to a port on your mobo.
