awesome, I didn't know what the average was, so when I saw those temps i thought i was frying my machine I had no idea how awesome my computer was going to be, it runs everything so nice for a budget build
I accidently hit 100 c on my gpu yesterday because my fan speed for some reason refused to scale with temps. I was playing fucking MW2.
When are you actually going to order your new computer? You've made so many threads about it.
I am an lazy/undeciding fuck. Every time I launch up BF3 just to play it in a tiny resized window at minimum resolution, I think to myself "I should really buy a new computer" but then after I am like "fuck that shit I can't be bothered to look at my credit card number" and then I just end up not buying it. I will (hopefully) still buy it this month though D:

Does such thing as a wireless flash drive exist?
no and why would you want one?
Pepper;33159598']no and why would you want one?
because my USB ports are extremely tight and i fear I'm going to break my USB drive every time I put it in/take it out
Shit, my computer won't boot up. The fans turn on for about 10 seconds, then shut down, then come on again. The main lights in the front do not turn on. The computer froze while I was playing Battlefield 3. I thought it was just a game freeze so I turned off my pc and it wouldn't turn back on again. Now I'm stuck right here with a computer that does not boot up. I have Windows 7 64 bit and a GTX 440.
could be a bad motherboard / motherboard cable
How would I know?
reset CMOS, make sure CPU power is plugged in, make sure GPU is seated properly.
What cooler/ram/psu and gfx card should I be looking out for to pair with 2600k? 212+ and 560ti is what I've been looking for and a psu around 700 watts.

Only get the evo if it's $5 (or less) more expensive than the +. If this is a gaming PC, you should be getting a 2500k and a better videocard. If you have the extra budget for a 2600k, you should already have at least a gtx 580 in the planned build. If this isn't for gaming, a 560 TI is a nice card, but of course a 570 or 580 is better. It's hard to say what you should be getting without knowing the use and budget.

My budget to upgrade these parts is no more than 600 after taxes and shipping. 560ti, ram, cooler and psu barley fits in that window unless there are crazy black friday deals..
What's my best upgrade option here, from a 5770 crossfire: ATi 5870 1GB AMD 6970 2GB Nvidia 560 Ti (2GB?) Gaming at 1920x1080, processor is AMD Phenom 2 x4 @ 3.8GHz, 8GB of RAM. I'm shying away from Nvidia only because SLI wouldn't be an option with my board later on. But if it'd really be that much better I'm open to that option.
Right, my brother got the parts for his new PC, we go to install the processor to the motherboard and you can't put the retention bracket down without scratching the processor metal. I think the retention screw the bracket goes under is too low, but it seems to have some sort of unknown screw hole so should he just return it?

And I would be one of those people, but it all comes down to your budget.

Oh I didn't read the crossfire bit, yeah, keep with the 5770 crossfire, wait until the next line of cards.
battlefield 3 isn't very cpu intensive, in fact it's not a very intensive game at all honestly if he's got at least a 4870 he can expect at the worst, 40 fps on low at 1080p
I have a 4850 but you were right. I bought the game and the lowest fps I had (playing on low) I had 35. best fps around 75 but mostly between 40-50.
Oh I didn't read the crossfire bit, yeah, keep with the 5770 crossfire, wait until the next line of cards.
Alright. I just find myself not maxing out games I feel like I should, thought it might be time. Probably just some tweaking I gotta do.
I RMA'd my Asus mother board a week ago, FedEx said it arrived on November the third yet Asus's support website still shows it as not received. Any ideas?

Ah Thank you Shadaez
