TX750V2, there's not enough modularity to be worth the cost
212 evo
60GB boot SSD, crucial M4
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/8gb-%282x4gb%29-corsair-ddr3-xms3-pc3-12800-%281600%29-non-ecc-unbuffered-cas-9-9-9-27-165v
912 Plus, 690 II, lancools etc. anything but that shitty NZXT

That SSD isn't for boot only at this point, so it needs to be more than 60GB.
Case could be changed, from what i've heard thats a good case? (Based on reviews and stuff?)
Are you just saying it's shitty because it's NZXT or for a reason?
The reason I was buying the GPU from scan was (aswell as free delivery) you get 3 free games with it.
I guess i'll swap the PSU and cooler for now, see if that's cheap enough.
[editline]15th November 2011[/editline]
fuck it; no point getting the 212 just to replace it in two months. I'll stick with the stock cooler for now.
I'm saying it's shitty because NZXT makes crap quality ricer cases
they have a single halfways decent case and it's still overpriced
[editline]15th November 2011[/editline]
and why would you replace it after 2 months
a 212 is fine for 90% of people's 2500ks

1) Oh, so stereotype. Opinion discounted.
2) Because I'm a noise freak. Anything noisy annoys the hell out of me.
You don't like noise and you want a NZXT case?
Those are the noisiest cases I have ever worked with and owned.
212 is as loud as the fans you put on it, if you find that it's too loud, just buy some nice silent typhoons or something.
I plan to use a fan controller, although I am thinking of changing the case.

it's not a stereotype, that's what NZXT makes
they got better with the phantom and went straight back to overpriced shit with the H2
if I told you noname chinese PSUs were absolute shit would you ignore my opinion then?

the rice is strong with this one

I'm going to trust 3 review websites that have all had and reviewed the case rather than you basing your judgement off of (actually quite true) prejudice.

http://www.overclockersonline.net/reviews/nzxt-tempest-evo/

You shouldn't make judgements based off your previous experience with a brand if there's evidence to the contrary.
NZXT always gets good reviews because they threaten to stop sending free stuff if they get a single bad one
their cases especially are awful plastic LED filled ricer shit, this is well known and their older cases are even worse for it
stop asking for help if you're going to ignore any given
[editline]15th November 2011[/editline]
my judgement of the brand comes from my judgement of every single one of their products
their products are plastic ricer shit cases, therefore NZXT cases are plastic ricer shit
how is this hard to udnerstand
The tempest evo looks nice, I really like the cooling
also is the tempest EVO better cooling than the CM 690 II?
Stock?

I fail to see how some of NZXT's cases being shit automatically makes all their cases shit.
It's always the same with you. You automatically think that one bad product means all their products are bad.
I particularly love the way you called them plastic ricer shit when it's made of steel.
At Maag, both are pretty good cases from what I've read. Never had either though.

what
what
If a brand has a history of being unreliable or overpriced, but their new product is good - what's the problem with that product?

What good products, cases in this case, has come from NZXT besides the Phantom?
None as far as I know.
Do you think this could run Elder scrolls IV: Oblivion?

not some, all but one of their cases
try reading
yeah most cases are made of steel, what's your point because mine is they take basic, badly designed, low quality cases, slap lights and plastic on them to rice them up as much as possible and market them to 13 year olds
and yeah it's the same every time with you
you enter a thread, ask if a list of parts is ok, then ignore any advice given to you and remain determined to waste your money on bad products then pick the first results from google to justify yourself regardless of how credible it is
one bad product does not make a brand bad
but a few good products doesn't mean everything from a brand is good
the phantom is okay but expensive, the hale90 PSUs are good, possibly the other hale PSUs I haven't looked into them, some of the fan controllers are okay
the rest of their cases are crap
Tom Logan of Overclock3D gave their H2 case a negative review, their response to this was to put messages about him on their facebook page and throw a hissy fit
reviews cannot always be trusted
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=MHcyWTorjdU#t=875s here he compares it to their older cases like the one you chose, note low quality and bad design
Anyone know where I can find another GTX 480 on the cheap side?
I have looked at most online retailers and most want $400+
Installing on a fresh HDD, Windows 7 CD but with upgrade key.
Is this possible?
So I just went to extend my Programs partition and for some reason Windows has created 2 partitions for the just one. What's going on and how do I join them?

Install windows once without a CD Key, then install over it with the upgrade key.
This looks helpful: http://www.dynamic-disk.com/convert-dynamic-disk-to-basic.html
Is an OEM W7 CD any different from a normal one?
I have dual monitor and SLI 550ti, should I plug the monitors on seperate cards or the same one?
[del]I have this program that is checking a webpage for updates. I need a way to find out what website it's connecting to. How can I do this?[/del]
Found a program to do exactly this. It was SmartSniff.

CPU and RAM most definitely pass, but I'm surprised you're even running Win 7 OK on Intel graphics.
If it's a desktop, go pick up a video card from somewhere (preferably Newegg because better deals). Hell, even a Geforce 9400 would be better than what you have now AND it could run Oblivion at high (possibly Ultra if they had it back then, can't be assed to check now.)
