The "Quick Questions that does not Deserve a Thread"...Thread. V2

Before I get to my question I have a little story to tell. Back before I built my current rig I picked up I got a Logitech S 510 and at lest the keyboard has been working fine, the mouse is a different story. About a year ago the middle-click stopped working properly because I broke the mechanism that holds it in place from what I suspect is overuse. But today things got even worse, the left click stopped working. Figuring it was just an easy fix I opened up the mouse and well its not...

(Left side is left click and right side is right click respectfully)
If you don't get whats going on here I have used the mouse so much that I have grinded the left click down to an unusable stub. So does anyone have a well priced wireless gaming mouse that they would recommend?
What's the average temperature for SLI 8800gt's?, at the moment it's apparently at 80 degrees(not sure of the right measurement, and when I start to play games the graphics card fan starts to make a high pitch/loud noise?

So they idle at 80c? That's a load temperature for most cards. Take them out as soon as possible and clean the fuck out of them. The fan might be clogged.
Yeah if its idle temps are 80c you have a problem. 80F and you're fine.
Just bought this.
Wise choice?

you could've gotten a lot better
Athlon II
Why
Good SSD with around 100GB storage that doesn't break a bank (UK <£200 prefer around £150 if possible)
I didn't really want to make a thread just yet as I'm still saving money, but I'm very new to hardware and building PCs. I will be buying a PC probably late October-early November of this year.
Do you figure I'd be able to max a new game like BF3 or even something like Metro 2033 with a system (via newegg, never buying prebuilt again) on a $2,000 budget with which I need to buy everything?
Meaning, 2000 USD which goes towards
CPU
GPU
PSU
Motherboard
Sound Card
HDD
Case
CD Drive
Monitor(s)
Keyboard
Headset
Mouse
and virtually anything that would be necessary to game with that I haven't listed because I've forgotten.
I'd really like to use dual or tri monitor, but that's a bit advanced for me. I've also kind of been set on going AMD unless nVidia is going to give me more bang for my buck (which I doubt). I'd like it to be something I use for at least 3 years without an upgrade.
With 2k? easily, although maybe not if you want 2 monitors.

Also, can someone recommend me a good program for viewing .gifs. If I click on one it opens in internet explorer.
Yeah, I'm not so sure I want 2 monitors. I was initially going to get a 2k PC last summer, and I planned an a 59XX series, but I was told it'd just be bottlenecked because I wouldn't be using Eyefinity with only one monitor.
I dunno, maybe I can get a single monitor with a card capable of using 2 and just get the second some time down the line. I'll post a request in the PC building section once I get the cash and it's time to buy, as I'm sure price will have dropped by then.
Thanks cathal!

I don't think you need two keyboards.

Oops, I was trying to remember everything I'd need to include so I must've just typed it twice, my bad.

Yeah I'd like to hear the answer to this too.
(And why did Microsoft remove support for viewing .gif files with the built-in photo viewer?)

Sorry if you don't like tech newbies here, but I've got another question.
With a single monitor would it be a wiser choice to buy a single HD6970 or Dual Crossfired 6850s? Or is that overkill?
Would it just be a waste of resources, even down the line getting a second or third monitor? From what I read, a single HD6970 has 2 DisplayPorts, which I was assuming meant it had the capability of using dual monitors, or up to 4 if I Crossfired 2.
I'd really like this PC to last me 4 or 5 years if possible. That being said, I am very open to upgrading.
Friend's asking for help buying a computer, $600 and he wants to play games with it.
HE CANNOT BUILD
And he wants an i5/4Gb ram
build it for him, you're not going to find a non-shitty prebuilt with an i5 for $600.
[editline]7th June 2011[/editline]
you can charge him or something
So, I'm nearly done with a tentative build, would I get chewed out posting it here or should I just make a thread in PC Builders?
Would static electricity be a huge risk if I'm building my rig on a wood table over a wood floor?
Getting my first phone soon and I'm stuck choosing between the Samsung Nexus S, the iPhone 4 or waiting a month or so for a better phone. I'll be getting it on a rogers wireless contract (Canada, in Manitoba to be exact). It has to be rogers since I can get a nice deal on the monthly plan.

68XX series can support up to 3 monitors each iirc. Some of them even support 4
The 'two displayports' means that there are two displayport outputs. There are probably two dvi ports and an HDMI on the back of the card as well. If you crossfire 2 6xxx AMD cards, you can have up to 6 monitors

The Crucial M4 looks like the best bang-for-your-buck SSD right now.
I don't know where you European guys get your computer components, but here you go:

Thank you all!

Aria.co.uk and Novatech are recommended as most over such as overclockers are normally more expensive
Recently I have been getting drops on my internet, both on and off LoL. That means I can be playing like a boss until I get a 3-5 second lagspike that causes me to stand still so all my enemies can kill me.
Can anyone please tell me what could be causing this? I have 2 friends sitting next to me on the same network, but they don't have the problem. I have tried wired and wireless connection, and it still happens.
My Google chrome icon has disappeared any idea on how to fix it?
My Google chrome icon has disappeared any idea on how to fix it?
Where was it last seen?
In all seriousness, we need more information than "it disappeared" where'd it disappear from, where was it, etc.

I just reinstalled Windows and I pinned it to my task bar and it gave that missing icon.
