I don't know what to say. I know that media tags on Facepunch always opened in 720p for me. Oh, and what was really annoying is if you click the button, it goes up instead of down. I don't know why the folks at YouTube are so cruel.
The embed tag that Facepunch uses tells them to load in 720p.

Ah, so it's not YouTube, but Garry who is behind this. I wonder if my account settings affect media tags as well?
-Snip, fixed it.-
Embedded videos on Facepunch usually start at 360p for me.
HD tags cause them to load at 720p.
It's really inconsistent on Youtube itself for me, at least.

Go to your account settings and tell it to not load the highest quality automatically.

Anyone know of a case design similar to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112218 ? I mean the weird PSU positioning.
[editline]8th June 2011[/editline]
The PSU is mounted in the front bottom, if you're wondering and don't want to click the link.

I'm also wondering about MSI's graphics card warranty policy,
1. Open box - do I still get the warranty?
2. If I reapply thermal paste to it, is my warranty void?
Anyone use the ThermalRight HR-02. Wanted to use my TRUE for passive or low speed cooling on my future overclocked 2600k. But how would an HR-02 compare to a TRUE.
Looking for a bandwidth monitor (pref free) that can tell me on a program-by-program basis of what's uploading/downloading at what speeds and such. using W7 x64

I have a display resolution of 1440x900, what kind of graphics card would I be looking at if I wanted to play Battlefield 3 maxed?

it's not out yet, we don't know.
A gtx 460 will probably be able to max BF3 at that res, though.

What would be a better choice, a 6850 or a 460?
Price is pretty much the same.

they perform pretty much equally so whichever has a better cooler
or if you'll make use of physx, the 460
make sure it's a 1GB 460, and not an SE
also if you mine bitcoins, get the 6850. 460's suck at mining.
How does upgrading between 7 versions work? i.e. if i get a Professional upgrade disc via MSDNAA and i already have Home Premium, will it just unlock the features of Professional or require some kind of formatting. I'd assume the first but i've never had a need to upgrade between flavours of a version of windows.

turn off scheduled defragging and set the SATA interface mode to AHCI instead of IDE in BIOS

Never defrag a SSD then or only do it rarely?
never defrag an SSD, EVER
What does Defragging do to it anyway. Does it just use up an assload of cycles, or something else?

All it does is lowers its lifespan, it doesn't matter where a file is on an SSD, it takes the same ammount of time to read from it no matter where it is located.
