Hi, I recently bought an ASUS Vulcan headset from amazon, but it is really quiet on teamspeak and skype. I can barely listen to myself when I hit the option to listen to device. Volume is on 100 and the booster is 0 because it adds white noise. All of the reviews say that everyone compliments the Mic quality, and people have been telling me its really bad quality. Any suggestions?
I currently have a AMD x4 955 black processor @ 3.2ghz and a 5770. Im thinking about upgrading my card but what would be the best i can go without needing a new processor?
You should be able to go pretty far without being bottlenecked by your processor. If you're really worried just get a hyper 212 plus/evo instead of the next model gpu and overclock a bit more if you can. Otherwise, just get a 6950/560Ti or 6970/570.

I'm looking for a device that can record off of television, from an antenna, coaxial input. This hypothetical device would preferably have digital storage, and most importantly must have the ability to be programmed, with start and stop times, as well as channel. Does such a device even exist? What would it be called?

I've been having this really annoying problem for the last few days. My monitor will go black and"DVI no signal" will come up on screen. Then the fans in my computer will start spinning very fast but I always shut it down before anything else can happen. Whats causing this and how do i fix it? I have a gtx 570 btw.
Soo I've had some problems with my computer lately. If I kick the table or something it may shut down, and start an endless reboot cycle. Mostly it stats to work again soon when I reset it. Today it didn't work, so I opened the case. All wires were fully attached. I reinstalled the RAM sticks and CPU wire too, and tried to boot it up. This time it gave me three loud beeps, then 7 and a half beeps before shutting down and repeating. I can't seem to find what's the problem. Mobo manual doesn't mention all the beep codes. Some site said that 3+8 beeps means CPU incompatibility issue, but it can't be that. Intel core2duo E4600 2x1gb DDR2 800mhz Gigabyte P35 GA-EP35-DS3R Nvidia geforce 9600gt 512mb

I need a new PSU. Sadly, I've got a strange predicament, and I can't seem to find one that will suit my needs. My current PSU is great, it gets the job done, and has never given me any problems, other than this one. [t]http://i.imgur.com/iX81J.jpg[/t] I'm crap at cable management, and this PSU has 5 different groups of cables, from sata, to molex, to god knows what else. It's supposed to be a universal PSU, and it certainly is. The problem is that there are cables everywhere, and it's causing me a lot of problems. So my request is: Is there anyone that can help me with this cable management hell, or does anyone know of a reliable PSU with at least 4 molex cables, and 3 sata cables (4 molex cables for my fans, 3 sata cables for my hard drives)? It needs to be a minimum of 600w (as that's what my current one is). Any help would be appreciated, as it has been bugging me for a long time, and I've finally come to the realization that it needs to be fixed.
sounds like a shorting issue to me, or maybe a loose cable / card of some sort.
I got it working ! Almost ripped my balls of due frustration. It must have been a CPU problem, because if I removed the CPU power cord it didn't give any errors and didn't reboot. After I had replugged the cable I didn't the 3+8 error anymore, but I was stuck with the endless boot cycle. I removed the CPU cooler and cpu and reinstalled both. At first boot it shut down a after a second but at second try it worked =)
I have this Kingston HyperX 8gb 1600mhz: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104242 Should I get today's shell shocker deal which is Kingston HyperX 8gb 1333: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104231 They are the same brand, different heat sinks, and have different frequencies but same timings. I'm tempted since it's only 20 bucks.
If you do add the 1333 RAM, all your RAM (including the 1600) will run at 1333 which can cause problems in rare situations.
uh a dvr
So, if it says "Records directly from cable tv and satillite" does that mean that it doesn't do antena, then?
So, if it says "Records directly from cable tv and satillite" does that mean that it doesn't do antena, then?
antenna is a different signal type, but I assume there's such thing as an antenna-accepting DVR somewhere.
Is it possible to host servers through complex LANs such as the one below, considering the routers are port-forwarded and the laptop's firewall is off?

I want to move my hdd with Windows 7 Home Edition OEM, over to my new rig.. which contains new everything. Would i have issues? like would the operating system not function? The new rig contains 3 HDD's with a RAID5 layout.
Just answer the question. It is simply an example.
Depends on the router, and it'd be difficult. There's little to no reasons to have more than one router, though. If you need more ports, use a switch with the router. If you need more wireless coverage, get an access point or extender.

Anytime I buy a motherfucking router, it is either too weak, or it's strong, but it shuts down every few hours, and I have to unplug and replug it to get it working again. Therefore, I am forced to find some complex and intricate solution to force wireless to penetrate every square foot of my fortress of a house. My modem (and shit router) are on one end of the house, and all the computers that need wireless are on the exact opposite end of the house. How do I get a good connection that not only never shuts down but also allows me to host servers? I have a non-wireless router, a weak wireless router that would be decent if it was at the end of the house with all the computers, and more than enough wires. I would be willing to use anything, from extenders, to powerline networking, but I'm so damn confused and I'm afraid these devices might not have enough power to get the connection from one end to another. Feel free to ask me any more questions.

Make it look really professional and convince them that it's the best thing ever and have it install chrome. if it needs to be from amazon just get them a fancy mouse or keyboard.
Do powerline adapters need to be on the same breaker in your house?
My computer freezes every 2-5 minutes, happens more often when gaming. It it only takes 1-5 seconds to work again but its annoying. When it freezes it always also says "network cable is not connected" for a second. All sounds loop too. What might cause this?
Bad drivers possibly, faulty cable/router/NIC etc
