Looking to buy a prebuilt computer and I want to know how the AMD Radeon HD 6450 is. Gaming is important for this computer and I want to make sure I get a good graphics card.

Not a good card. What's stopping you from building?
Hnng my 480 is running at 80c right now, can i do something? There's no dust whatsoever in the case.
Dual monitors, and i have the newest gpu bios.
Oh shit, plugged my second monitor out, 71c already, now it's back to normal temperatures.
69c. Still kinda high i think
I decided on Auslogics, as there seemed to be more favorable reviews for it.
However, I have a new question:
I have a Gateway Laptop with both Ubuntu 11.04 and Vista on it's own partition on one drive. I want to do a system restore of Vista to factory settings, and I can't seem to do it, presumably because of the partition. I don't have any restore discs, or in fact any blank discs lying around.. Is there a way to do this from within the OS itself?
I usually loathe doing this, but re-posting for new page.

Yeah this entire forum will just tell you to build anyway. It's cheaper and really not as hard as it looks.

6*** - is generation (this increments like every year)
*4** - is performance (9 being the best, 4 being very low)
**50 - is the type in that range of performance (90 being the best)
Something like that anyway. 6990 is the highest card at the moment.

I'm just tired of building them. I built the one I have now years ago. Then it died. Took almost another year to get it fixed. Now after just a few months, it's dead again.
I need to do an almost complete upgrade anyway. I think it might be best to just leave putting it together in the hands of a professional.
Well can someone recommend me a good site to order a build from?

You had one bad experience and why did you leave it almost a year? What was the problem?
Uh. I guess you can use iBuyPower or Cyberpower PC if that's what you really want.
A friend of my has a PC that he got from iBuyPower and he has no issues since i bought it like 2 years ago or so.

Where do you live?
You had one bad experience and why did you leave it almost a year? What was the problem?
I didn't want to leave it. It just took me almost a year until I was able to get the parts. Had a lot of stuff going on.
Where do you live?
Georgia.
You live a hour away from me.

Feel like building a computer? :v:
Safari on Windows isn't very good (it's good on OSX). Go Chrome.
I switched over when Firefox would logout of facepunch on every visit, I haven't got round to changing back over to FF/Chrome.

Do I get a cut? If so I totally will.

Honestly, I don't even know if I have the money right now to buy the parts.
I know overall it's cheaper to build your own, but one of the things drawing me to a prebuilt right now is that it looks like I'll be able to pay it off over time.
Well you know where to contact me if you decide to go custom built.

Which tier should I get? One or two? And is FiOS worth it? (I'm in washington state, pic from frontier.com.)

Where do you live? If you can get fiber, do it. look at Qwest HD, 40/20 for $50 and there's no caps. Don't know what Verizon's caps are, also consider getting Comcast business connection if you can - unlimited caps.
that's well expensive!
that's well expensive!
We pay ca. $49.99/month for an 7 Mbps connection here in Norway, so quiet! :colbert:
$20 for 5Mbps and Satellite TV.

For $200 a month with FiOS you can get 150/35Mbps
Wow, the prices here are really random, we pay 40$ a month for 100/100.

Sweden.
What the fuck is going on with Defraggler. I just defragmented my computer like 3 times, but it keeps saying that it has 31% of fragmentation.
Windows 7, 64 bits. I just "formated" it.

Also, should I install the drivers?, this might sound very dumb, but the audio is ok and I can play games, I don't know if I need them.
How long does it take for a HDD to wear out and what are some symptoms of it wearing out?
GTA IV is pretty much not optimized at all for PC's, if you've spent less than $1k on your rig you should probably just go PS3
I played GTA4 at maxed out settings with reasonable view distance and such at 1920x1080 with a $650 computer a year and a half ago. I'd say $500 or less in todays market would be the deciding factor.
Ok so I've decided to replace my NZXT Lexa S. Been looking at Newegg and found these cases, so out all of these which you guys recommend?

The Haf 912 looks great for you. Easily manageable and it looks great. Cooler Master makes the best cases. I'm considering buying that case as well now that you've pointed it out to me.
