How do I add my downloads folder to the start menu? not where the programs are visible but to the right where it says "username, documents" etc. I remember doing it before but can't remember how.

Right click in that area. there might be an option to add things or something. My windows machine isn't on right now, but I've got mine in there from the right click menu.

Control Panel > Taskbar and Start Menu > Start Menu > Customize
I'm looking at the page for NIC on Wikipedia and I think mine is a little antenna from Linksys - should I look for an update for it?

As far as I know no hard drives can even use the increased bandwidth SATA 3 gives over SATA 2, it's just a marketing thing, so I think it should work.
When the AMD HD 7970 comes out, does the price for the AMD HD 6970 drop the day it comes out or did the price already dropped for the release?
Any reason why GTA IV would be slow when I first get into the game and walk out of the apartment? Once I look in all directions and the rest of the textures load in, it runs flawlessly maxed on my i5 2500k and 560ti. Would it have to do with the hdd or something?
Nevermind, wiped my drivers and reinstalled. Fixed everything.

It's because you are loading everything right there.
GTA4 ran way better on the earlier patches.
