An admittedly really cheap one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817148040

Alright, thanks for the heads up.
tbh it would probably work but don't be surprised when it dies, possibly killing your motherboard and such, too.
I've been meaning to replace it anyway, every time someone asks what psu I have they tell me that they are surprised my computer isn't dead. Anyways, would this be a nice replacement? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139021 [editline]17th June 2011[/editline] And I'm guessing when it says 'SLI ready' it also applies for crossfire.
Is This a good graphics tablet?
Don't buy that, it's essentially a giant touch pad. It doesn't have the pen capability like good tablets do. Get the Wacom Pen or the Wacom Pen and Touch, but not the Wacom touch

[editline]17th June 2011[/editline] It is a nice PSU

Whats a good digital vibrance setting for the GTX 560TI?
Whats a good digital vibrance setting for the GTX 560TI?
default
default
Whats the default?
50%, all it does is saturate the colours and it looks horrible
Again, where is that PC building guide thread that was on facepunch a few months ago? EDIT: Oh for fuck's sake no one ever answers this question for me
a pc building guide that's a few months old is outdated by now
a pc building guide that's a few months old is outdated by now
because atx/pci/ddr/sata standards have DRASTICALLY changed in a few months and now you plug them in differently!
I forgot to ask this, but are Firefox plugins forwards compatible? Like, if I took a plugin for Firefox 3.7 and installed in in Firefox 4.0, would it still work?
because atx/pci/ddr/sata standards have DRASTICALLY changed in a few months and now you plug them in differently!
He means the 'choosing parts' section, since it would recommend outdated products
50%, all it does is saturate the colours and it looks horrible
I actually have to use it on my laptop and change it to around 70% because of the low contrast ratio. Without it, everything looks much more white and black.
Is it possible to transfer data between computers using an cat5e(ethernet) cable? Also I have a 15m cat5e cable connecting my router/modem to my pc, am I going to notice any loss in speed?
-snip, nevermind-
What's a good way to stress test a computer? I'm fixing my cousins laptop and she says it crashes about 15 minutes after she starts using it. I've done a windows repair recovery thing, but I need to make sure that it doesn't crash any more. It's been on all day with a bunch of Microsoft office windows and Itunes open, but it's still fine. Are there any good well rounded 'everyday use' simulators?
If you want to stress the CPU I'd recommend Prime95.
-snip, i'll just make a thread- http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1098979-A-disk-read-error-occurred.-Press-Ctrl-Alt-Del-to-restart.
every time I've built a computer and it wouldn't post it was the RAM's fault try moving it around
oh well, it worked.
I have an SSD and a HHD and installed Lse, how do I make it so my program files are on the HDD but windows thinks they're on the SSD?
Is it possible to transfer data between computers using an cat5e(ethernet) cable?
Its entirely possible but if youre transferring large amounts of data theres probably eaiser ways. If both computers are on a network then you can just set up a shared folder then place the files into that.
What CPU do you have, and do you have an aftermarket HSF?
It's an E3300 Wolfdale, and I have no idea what cooling this has, likely stock but the computer's virtually soundless so I don't think the fans are on full. I'm thinking of getting a huge-ass fan anyway.
