The thing is I'm trying to get MemTest86 4.20 to work on my PC. I burned it onto a DVD and for some reason after choosing to boot using the CD/DVD drive it doesn't start up MemTest. Here's my thread by the way: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1093499-BSODs/page4
Plans for an upgrade: Q6600 -> i5 2500K 4GB DDR2 -> 8GB DDR3 ATI 5870 -> The same Corsair 600W PSU -> The same Antec 1200 -> Corsair Obsidian Series 650D (The reason is that I want a smaller/lighter case) Asus P5K Deluxe -> Asus P8P67 Pro Corsair H50 -> Corsair H60 Any potential issues or anything I should change?
8GB is overkill. Go for 4GBs to save some money. Though you might need that extra RAM for something more than games if that's what you are doing.

Anyone know of a good HD-DVD player out there? I'm just now returning to the home entertainment scene to replace my 20" CRT and million bootlegged VHS tapes and see that factory sealed HD-DVD's are practically being given away now with the whole blu-ray bandwagon well in motion.

Would this one play HD-DvDs? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882125367&cm_re=hd_dvd_player-_-82-125-367-_-Product
HDMI Output says it all.

It's a DVD player. Not an HD-DVD player. Different formats.
I'm going to learn a few programming languages. What should they be and which should I learn first (I'm learning for a hobby, and possibly a future side-job in gaming, or Google). Java is one of them. "A few" because I want a wide lexicon
I got my G110 yesterday (3 days early :buddy:) but the thing is i have to take it out of its USB slot and plug it back in at windows log in, then use my mouse to go to onscreen keyboard, log in via that, and then i can use my keyboard, anyone know any workarounds?
Why even replace the H50?
Its a great cooler and its cheaper. I have it with an i5 2500k and it idles at 33 and nevers gets above 50 unless I run prime 95 for a few hours.
Which is the best burning software? Preferably free. I'm looking at Nero and PowerISO. Also which version should I get (if there are multiple versions to the software)?

And it wouldn't be cheaper cause he already has the H50.
Which is the best burning software? Preferably free. I'm looking at Nero and PowerISO. Also which version should I get (if there are multiple versions to the software)?
I prefer ImgBurn.
I've had windows 7 for a year and a half now, no reformats. Booting up is fine but going from the login screen to desktop is slow and time consuming, maybe 40 seconds before I can begin clicking around. I've tried defragging and running Ccleaner on everything. What else can I try to make this faster?
I prefer ImgBurn.
imgburn.com appears to be down [editline]21st June 2011[/editline] never mind [editline]21st June 2011[/editline] So I guess I'll use imagburn. Thanks Horse.
Anyone knows hoe much RAM a Asus P6T SE could handle? Maybe i'm asking this question wrong, but i really suck at computer stuff
Removed the H50 upgrade, just need to find a new backplate for the new socket type. So does my ATI 5870 really need to be updated? Anyone recommend two 120mm fans for the H50?

Quick hard drive question: Is seagate a terrible brand, and what would cause a hd to fail after almost 3 months of use?
