Yeah I've been getting BSODs and did a bunch of other solutions (reinstall GPU drivers, use Driver Sweeper to get rid of old ATi drivers, Memtest86, etc). So maybe the Realtek and Creative drivers are causing BSODs. You can check my thread in Technical Support if you want, but which one should I remove? Realtek or Creative?
Anyone know why my upload speed is higher than my download? My internet has been so slow for the past few days it's impossible to load any pages with images on, any youtube videos and downloads are going slower than my phone can download from 3G. Download speed is: 0.3Mb Upload Speed: 1.2Mb We pay for 20Mb internet, so why i'm getting a 100th of that speed i'm not sure but i've ran virus checks etc etc. My computer harddrive has been whirring away really quickly and making a shit load of noise even with idle which makes me think my computer has been hijacked and the reason it's so slow is because someones or something is using it all on my end, also my computer has been generally sluggish and went from running CSS on full settings at well over 60fps to barely making 15fps on lowest :/ As soon as i take my internet cable out my computer calms down and becomes quick again which is really worrying.

I'm currently trying to create a portfolio site for my art work However, I know nothing about web creation Wix.com looked like a good way to get around this, as it is free and provides templates that are really easy to edit, but are there any alternatives recommended by you guys? Much appreciated

In the window that opens it should mention "64-bit operating system".

From there you can do some research on it and figure out what it supports. Edit: You're good. The only thing that determines what OS you can use is your Proc.

Aww shit, too bad we don't have those prices here :saddowns:
What? You realize Alienware is a bad thing right?
Alienware is overkill thats all. Not that it's bad. If you think blue-ray is bad, I agree. And i7 is not bad, it's just that it is over prized. But this is just my opinion, so what ever you think might be completely different.

I think that takes into account the page file or RAM or something, all my cards do that too.
Too lazy to check other thead. Which driver is needed? If you have a Creative sound card, use the Creative drivers. Otherwise use Realtek. If your computer is prebuilt and you don't know what sound card you have, you can usually look it up on the website of the retailer. A lot of companies offer drivers specifically for prebuilt computers e.g. the latest Realtek drivers don't work well with my Asus laptop, I have to download a specific version of Realtek drivers from the Asus website.

I was well aware of the types of drivers he was having troubles with, but then he started talking about the GPU drivers, so I asked him about that. Also, don't be such a dickhead for no absolute reason.
Does it say 1267MB under approx total memory? I think that takes into account the page file or RAM or something, all my cards do that too.
Well the thing is it used to say 512MB :\

It allows for much more storage on a single disc and it's great for movies and games. It's just a little expensive at the moment. How did that even get in the conversation? i7 is great if you're actually going to use it. However, 90% of i7 owners buy it just because it's the best and not because they will use the hyperthreading. (hint: they won't)

Since I don't have the money to buy a new build all at once, I thought I'd spread out the time between purchases. Is my mobo compatible with this card? And yes, I'm aware it comes with DiRT3, I was planning on buying it anyways. I know you'll also need my PSU info, but I can't find the box. Is there a way to find out info from some software?
How can I convert .m4p files to mp3 files?

Huh, not a question or anything but I've realized that getting parts from Microcenter costs almost the same if not less than Newegg in many cases, plus there's no shipping charge, waiting for the parts, and being able to return the parts easily. Here's a funny example, i5 2500k costs $219.99 on Newegg, $170 at Microcenter, AND they do the same combo deals with motherboards.
Some guy is willing to trade two 6870's for my single GTX 570. Good deal or not? I could also get one of his 6870's plus $140 cash instead, but I think the two 6870's is a better deal. Should I go for it?

Here's a question: How come whenever i turn something on/off in my house my PC speakers Pop? Could this be damaging the speakers?
550 ti or 460? I have a 260 now and a 550 watt psu.
GTX 460, and what brand and precise model is that PSU? That's much more important than the wattage.
