I have no idea what I'm doing, pardon the ignorance.

That cooler is made for Intel CPUs.
I would recommend this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065 instead.

looking for a good video editing softwares for FRAPS recordings (perferably free or available free to students, or not) - I plan on uploading to youtube. I'll be using WLMM until I can get a good one - so please save me from WMVs! Windows 7 x64.
[editline]28th June 2011[/editline]
and when recording with Fraps, if you record your mic with it, too, does it put the mic on a separate audio channel so you can remove if if you need to?

OH and I'm looking for a nice desktop or clip on microphone on Amazon, I want it to be highish quality, or maybe even a adapter for a condenser mic to be used, since I already have one of those.
Quick question on AV programs. Sometimes MSE doesn't appear in my dock on Windows 7 (you know the little drop out menu at the bottom right that tells you what programs are running). Does that mean it's still active?
one more thing - it's not XLR it's a 1/4th inch, no clue what I need to get it working with my PC - I tried a 1/4th -> 3.5mm but it didn't work because it needs phantom power or something.

If you restart explorer.exe and it's still not there - it's probably off. Lately some things haven't been showing up in my notification area either, don't know why.

I would recommend gladder, but two problems:
1) It has no Chrome version
2) It hasn't seen an update since Firefox 3.5

everything
cpu and gpu, and to upgrade the cpu you're going to have to also upgrade your ram
I have a problem. I want to update my bios for my mobo, a new p67 but when I visit gigabyte's website and download the new bios, it says it only works for the 32 bit version of windows, and it won't let me pick a different version of the bios to download.
Nevermind, figured out how to flash my bios! Yay.

Why would I need to upgrade my RAM?...

Is there anyone who can help with my "No Display Detected" error? I made a separate thread here:

People stopped replying, could it be a faulty component? If so how can I isolate which component is specifically causing the problem.
I have 3 harddrives in my pc and one of them is clicking. How do I know which one?
I have 3 harddrives in my pc and one of them is clicking. How do I know which one?
Shut the computer down and unplug one and start the computer again. So for all 3 drives and you get to know if there wasn't clicking sound if the computer is running.
Do SATA to Molex power adapters exist?
Do SATA to Molex power adapters exist?
SATA carries data not power.
you are aware that on SATA devices you have to plug in a SATA power cable from your PSU right
the SATA data cable plugs into your motherboard
Do SATA to Molex power adapters exist?

Why would I need to upgrade my RAM?...
because your RAM is DDR2 and the standard is now DDR3, forgot you'll also need a new motherboard
