most if not all newer, higher performance drives are SATA [editline]30th June 2011[/editline] also i can vouch for the quality of that motherboard, you'll be fine if you're using SATA [editline]30th June 2011[/editline] sata connectors are in a bit of an awkward area if you've got a smaller case, works fine in a HAF912, and, i'd assume, anything of similar size.
Two questions really. One, if I buy THIS phone, which is unlocked, can I take the SIM card from my currently active T-Mobile account and successfully use it in said phone? And two, is Buy.com reputable enough to spend $300 on?
you won't have any kind of data (web browsing, market shit), but you should be able to make calls and send texts if your plan supports it. Make sure to go into airplane mode (i think this is what it was), i think that allows you to only use wifi and stops all other methods of data transfer. note that i'm probably wrong as these are things i've just remembered, since i don't own an android phone, but the sim will definitely work with calling and texting (within the limits of your plan.) [editline]30th June 2011[/editline] basically calling/texting, but you can only use wifi for data

didn't even look, i assumed nobody would be dumb enough to buy a winmo device at this point [editline]30th June 2011[/editline] not that there's anything wrong with it but i'm pretty sure most of the devices running it are outdated [editline]30th June 2011[/editline] at least i don't think there's anything wrong with it, never used winmo v:v:v [editline]30th June 2011[/editline] you know what i don't even own a proper phone you can pretty much ignore me :smith:

that's how it works on android devices, no clue about winmo
that's how it works on android devices, no clue about winmo
Ok man thanks for your help, and thanks to everyone else who responded. I'll figure something out.
What should I name my new computer?
dicktown [editline]30th June 2011[/editline] or "the.gibson"
do it
I don't get the reference though. [editline]30th June 2011[/editline] Also, hostnames tend to yell at me if I put dots in them so it'd just be "thegibson"

Hostname decided and movie added to "To Watch" list.
You guys know how when you move something from one explorer window to another, and after it's done moving, the file/folder will be highlighted in the window you moved the file/folder to? It doesn't do that for me anymore.
Ok man thanks for your help, and thanks to everyone else who responded. I'll figure something out.
If you have a data plan you can set up your defualt internet connection in winmo to dial your connection I know for verizon it's Phonnumber@vzw.3g.com and the password was just 1-9 or your phone number or something, i believe most other providers are the same. (obviously switch out the vzw for your specific carrier) you can also do a hard reset and dial the phone program number for your carrier aswell that should take care of it if they carry that phone as a supported device (T-mobile was the primary seller of that handset in the US so all features should be supported) For that price i'd get a windows mobile 7 or android device though. (Still am and always will be a fan of windows mobile 6.5 but it's fallen way behind in the times as far and finger friendly and usability goes though) I believe people have managed to run windows mobile 7 on the hd2 though
Windows 7 Home basic 64-bit Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @2.40Ghz 4096 MB RAM Geforce 9600 GT
I want to upgrade, but what should I upgrade first?
I want to upgrade, but what should I upgrade first?
GPU
Except wouldn't the 6 core be better than a 4 core?
In some applications, yes, but in games, no. And it's not worth the money anyhow.
There's something I have been thinking lately: Should I stop using Windows Live Messenger and use Pidgin or Miranda IM instead, or not? If you have MSN then which client do you use?
There's something I have been thinking lately: Should I stop using Windows Live Messenger and use Pidgin or Miranda IM instead, or not? Haters gonna hate. Besides, I don't miss name changing anyway and the smileys have never been good.
