What are the best 2.1 speakers you can get for around 30$? (usd)
some logitech ones would be your best bet.
No blue screen, it acts just like its overheating but it will do this with a cold boot and some times it will stay on long enough for me to post things. the temps seem to hover in the high 40's which I guess is fine for it. [editline]6th July 2011[/editline] also each time it does it, it seems there is more time between the crashes.
well now that its warmed up it does not crash anymore. Could it be that its a cold solder joint and when it gets hotter it expands enough to make a solid connection?
Is this good enough to play a modern game?
There was a program that showed you where your hard drive space was going to. It showed it as squares in squares, where the bigger the square was, the more space it was using. Does anyone know the name of the program?
You're either thinking of SequoiaView or WinDirStat I think.
http://gyazo.com/d265e809fbd17bd82940fb00b1615cf8.png Nope. But yeah. That card is.
wait what 5570 with 2GB RAM http://www.maplin.co.uk/ati-xfx-radeon-hd5570-2gb-pci-e-graphics-card-513968 no that's terrible
I'd get an XFX modular 650W and a HAF 912 Plus or 690 II instead but otherwise looks alright maybe use scan instead, novatech's product range isn't that great and I know even on basic using stuff scan can cut a couple quid (e.g. 4GB corsair 1600Mhz is £29 inc. VAT while that 1333 kit is £31 ex. VAT)
How about this? [editline]6th July 2011[/editline] this is on https://www.aria.co.uk [editline]6th July 2011[/editline] £20 under budget also

Can anyone help me out? My computer keeps turning off a little after I turn it on it dosent matter if I go into BIOS or boot windows. I think it might be a problem with the ram or power supply but I dont have the parts to switch them out to test what is wrong with it.
It could also be a heat issue.
No I doubt it because I left it off and unplugged overnight thinking that was the issue but it still shuts down after a few minutes
No I doubt it because I left it off and unplugged overnight thinking that was the issue but it still shuts down after a few minutes
Your Motherboard could be shorting out on your case, or something else? Or as Dr. Peep's says it could be an overheating issue, best to check CPU and GPU temperatures. I also don't think it would make a difference of you left it unplugged or not, it's still going to overheat. >.>
Games (all games, graphically intensive or not) are crashing on me at random. Just crash to desktop with a generic Windows 7 "Try to find a solution?" box. I'm at my wit's end here, I've even tried reinstalling windows 7. Nothing. It's not a heat issue because, like i said, even graphically simple games like Uplink have crashed on occassion (although far, far less often than the more intensive ones). Does anybody have any idea whatsoever? Pls respond quickly before i kill myself.

That's the issue which is most likely causing the problems.
They don't have to be graphically intensive for it to crash from overheating. That's the issue which is most likely causing the problems.
Could it be the result of gradual damage to the processor (which does have a history of heat problems, but they [at least seemed {possibly just for lack of detection}] to have subsided when i upgraded my gpu)? Because my computer seems to have gotten progressively more fucked as time has gone on. 3 months ago i was running Just Cause 2 with no (visible) problems and now Mount and Blade or even duels of the planeswalkers are crashing very quickly.
Okay i have this CD Audio ripping program, which I've set up to rip in FLAC (Lossless Audio something). And FLAC means it's lossless in quality (?). But I can still choose bitrate, and lower bitrate equals lower filesize. Since FLAC is lossless, could I just take the absolute lowest bitrate to get lossless quality at a minimum file size?

This may be a pretty stupid question, but I think I may not have my facts straight. Is there a correlation between 64-bit software and dual-core processors? For some reason it's stuck in my mind that you have to have 64-bit software to take full advantage of dual-core processors, and from other sources this doesn't seem to be the case. I don't know what to think. Just someone, lighten me up on this because I am confused now.
Is there any particular good case fan type? I'm looking for 120mm fans, preferably with red leds. I need three of 'em, so not too expensive please. Furthermore, anyone know a connector so I can connect 2 fans to one fan thing on mobo?

Is it worth my while getting another 4890 and crossfiring them, I can pick one up for cheap on ebay.
5570 is terrible.
can you recommend something that will run bad company 2? Preferably for a low price.
I just tweaked my computer using a program called Tweaknow. Whenever I rate somebody on FP now I just get taken to www.facepunch.com/# for some reason, I can't check notifications on Facebook, tag people, or other things that. What do I have to change to fix this?
Can a 7800GT run on a 300W PSU decently?
