Is there a "plot point" function in SFML? Just, you know, to put a dot somewhere?
Pepper;30986432'] joke your heads
my dumb is because i now realize the error of my ways. i forgot about radeon being the predecessor to radeon HD. [editline]8th July 2011[/editline] Now that I double read my comment I said AMD 7xxx. At the time, ATI made the ATI Radeon 7xxx series. Hah. Wow i'm dumb for continuing this.
Well, you're right on two counts there.
Is it possible to have a 2 GB GDDR5 GPU with only 2GB of shitty DDR2 ram?

Is this card ok? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121432 I don't plan on sli so I don't think the size is an issue.

Jaehead, you're a ninja.
It'll run cooler I guess, after the shit I've gone through with this 8800gt I figured it would be worth it, and both twin frozrs are out of stock and don't come in a neat combo with a 2500k, I should have explained my reasoning first.

Man I sure hope so.
I'm thinking of upgrading in the next couple of months without spending too much. I've not been following the pc hardware scene for a couple of years so I'm no good at judging new hardware. My last upgrade was going from a 7600GS to a 9800GTX+, which I don't think I'll be upgrading this time as I don't game as often as I used to. I'm currently running an Athlon X2 3800+ with 4gb ddr2, and I think I want to upgrade these to a phenom 2 with a new mobo and ram to match, could anyone advise me on what would be good performance for my money. I'm not wanting to spend too much, £250 being my absolute max. Can anyone advise me?

You should clean the heatsink, since you kight want to use it as a backup card some time. You can get both a Phenom II 955 and a decent card for that kind of money. If you're PSU is up to it, of course.
I've never really used Newegg before this past month, but I got http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150516, and I'm wondering how to get Shogun, do they email the code like they do for the gift cards?

My PSU is definitely up for it, I got a 700w one when I bought my 9800GTX+ as my PSU then blew on the first power up.
Is that idleing? You should clean the heatsink, since you kight want to use it as a backup card some time.
Yeah it is. I tried to clean it out, sucking and blowing with a massive compressor and it gave no improvement. (well actually it did at least the computer posted but that's a separate issue entirely) So much dust was stuck in the cpu heatsink that it created a solid dust cube that I couldn't even clean out, but the CPU doesn't run anywhere near as hot anyway. Let's just say the next case I get is going to have dust filters.
What PSU is it? Brand and model means much more than wattage.
I can't remember which one it is (I'm away from my flat) but it was a modular one from a reputable brand and cost me about £80 new. (could be a CoolerMaster or a Corsair)
Is the 6850 better than the 4890?

It might be worth your time waiting for Bulldozer, though, and you'll hopefully have money for a new GPU, too, at that time.

I ordered a bunch of things this morning and I got this about an hour ago (its 5 PM), should I actually expect it to ship today? (I know they said so but it's kinda odd)
Your tracking number has been generated and your package/order will ship out today. Please note you will NOT be able to track your package until after 8:00 pm PST. Be advised that some tracking numbers may take up to 24 hours to be available for tracking.
I'm looking for an 1155 motherboard for a computer I am going to build. I want to get a Z68 motherboard, but it seems that the majority of motherboards within my price range ($200) have gotten very bad reviews in comparison to their P67 counterparts in terms of reliability (From Newegg, at least). I want the features that Z68 offers (Mostly the SSD caching, the other Z68 only features don't particularly interest me) but I would rather avoid the issues that many of the boards seem to have. What should I do?
anyone here own a sapphire graphics card? I've never bought a card from them and i was wondering if they were a reputable brand. Reviews seem positive but newegg reviewers rarely know what they're talking about.

What is the best 560 Ti shown here? http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=560+ti&x=0&y=0 Also, I can't use newegg. Put 96706 as your zip code.

Their Vapor-X coolers, as was said, are pretty damn good too.
