I'm guessing there aren't many (or any) usb capture cards that accept hdmi input, I haven't found any yet anyway.
I'm pretty sure they'll run like normal, and the OS will boot quicker. I don't know exactly how it works, but I have a friend that does that, and that's what he told me.
Well okay then, do I just plug the SSD into one of the SATA ports and off it goes, or would I have to set it up a specific way?

I've never seen one

I've never set up an SSD, so I won't try to guess how to do it, and possibly confuse you. I'm sure there is a guide on it, or someone else here would know better than myself.
Whats causing this sound?Okay I recently switched cases I moved everything from an hp pavilion elite m9200t to an Antec lanboy case the only things I changed where the GPU and PSU. Known while playing bfbc2 and other games you can hear this static like constant noise. That's when it's most noticibal if I watch YouTube I can only hear it if i turn the volume up real loud which I should not do with headphones that have 40mm speakers in them. Could someone tell me whats wrong I checked all the connections and they seem fine and the only really bent wires go to the power button or don't go anywhere. Please help. Thanks for reading.

You can still get component though, as long as you can de-interlace the footage the results are fine
Is it okay to use this and have it cause no problems? (thermal gel is missing in a few spots)
Well okay then, do I just plug the SSD into one of the SATA ports and off it goes, or would I have to set it up a specific way?
If you're going to be using Windows 7, then the odds are it's going to just work out of the box and recognize it as a storage device. If you're going to be using Windows XP, then you'll need specific drivers which you'll need to side load while you're loading up the Windows install.

It's fine.
How are you supposed to install a heatsink like this?

That looks like my old AMD stock fan. There should be little places on the motherboard around the CPU area and they'll lock in. Then you flip the switch thing on the right side and it pulls the heatsink to the mobo harder so it won't fall off or slip.
I'm going to be upgrading my cpu and ram in a few days, and when I turn my pc on after swapping them is it going to just automatically recognize the new hardware and work? Or am I going to have to go into the bios settings and do something there?

It'll work just fine. a new CPU and RAM doesn't require driver changes.
I'm looking for a Z68 motherboard, and I am thinking about getting a Gigabyte Z68X-UD3P-B3. Is it good, or are there better motherboards for the price?
I just got Fallout 3: GOTY from steam and in the past 2 days it's frozen 5 times. My GPU drivers are up to date and my temps are just fine. CPU is around 55-60C and GPU is around 45C. Specs here. How can I fix this?
Because you're using Windows 7. No, I'm being dead serious here.
Fallout 3 is a "Vista era" game (came out after Vista but before Win7). Normally, that wouldn't be a problem at all. But this is a Bethbryo game. As such, Win7 for some inexplicable reason causes Fallout 3 to go apeshit and crash a bunch.
The first thing you want to do is go into compatibility settings. Make sure it's on Windows XP compatibility mode. You may also wish to disable visual themes and desktop composition, as well as run it as an admin - that's what I have checked on mine, and it works. I don't know what's necessary or not but that's helped immensely.
The next thing you'll want to do is install this mod. What it does is it causes NPCs to stop saying things like "That's locked for a reason" whenever you look at a locked door. Not only is this mildly annoying, it inexplicably causes crashes in Win7.
Unless something goes wrong (i.e. you're banned from the Nexus and can't download that mod) you should now be able to start it up and play, and it should run about as well as Fallout New Vegas does. Admittedly that's not great either but it's still better.
Why is it that games/programs seem to think my graphics card is shit/fail to detect it?
For example, when I tried to load up GTA IV for the first time today, it fucked itself and didn't load any textures. I came to find out that this is because the draw distance was automatically set to the minimum, which is in turn because the game only recognizes that I have 59 megabytes of fucking resources available.
For the record, I have an Asus N53S, which means I'm running a GeForce 540M Cuda, with 1GB of dedicated memory.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm using Hamachi so two friends and I can play Terraria together without having to set up a server.
But one of my friends is having a slow connection problem all of the sudden. I look at Hamachi, and it says the connection between us is tunneled through a server, instead of direct. We're thinking this is why it's slow.
Is there a way to change this??
This Mobo will go with this CPU right?

You fucked up somewhere, but yeah, it'll work.

Alrighty, thanks man!
I'm running a dedicated server, though I've hit a problem. My IP (not a 192.168.2.1 variant) keeps changing. I have no idea why this is, and it's getting frustrating because the IP I gave out to people when it started up a couple of days ago keeps changing every time I turn my computer off, meaning they can't connect. So does anyone know how to stop this from happening?
What is the best wireless router I can buy in the UK for around £30? Budget can stretch another £20 if needed.

This is probably because your internet provider gives you new ips, the only way to change it from happening is change internet provider, which is unnecessary, you could just get a dynamic ip.

Go into your router and there should be a 'Dynamic IP' check box. Uncheck it
Thinking about buying an SSD for my computer. If I bought one, and ran my OS off of it, and then had my games on another hard drive, would the games load quick? Or normal?
Pretty sure they would run just as normal but you would notice a significant speed increase in PC start up times etc.
