How do Kindle's compare with reading a regular book?
Which do you prefer and which kindle is the best deal?
If I was to get an EBook online in a PDF format how well does it handle PDF's
don't use pdf, my kindle shat itself trying to load one when I had it. IMO the kindle is probably the best e-reader if all you do is read books (probably why you're buying an e-reader). The two i had were pretty flimsy though, first one broke from a 3-inch fall onto carpet, second one just cracked sitting in my carry-on luggage (no it didn't go through the x-ray machine, it just broke from being in the luggage). I currently have a nook color and once you've rooted and installed a different flavour of android, it's a great little tablet.
Back to your question, though, the kindle is great compared to reading a real book. The screen looks a bit like paper, and you'll have people asking whether it's a real screen. It's very convincing. Plus, you don't have to flip pages, so you can sit or lay in whatever position is most comfortable to you. It's very easy to read, even in direct sunlight.
Why do some downloads include a hash? Why should I check this against the download?
Why do some downloads include a hash? Why should I check this against the download?
If my understanding is correct the hash contains a very small part of the file. If they match, your file is 100% verified working, if not, there may be some issues.
I guess I'll ask here too. What needs upgrading the most?

Everything.
Everything.
pretty much this, i reccomend you get together a budget and post a thread in PC building.
May I ask why it's beyond upgrading? I'm not too great with computers, but why wouldn't upgrading the ram and GPU alone not do it?
May I ask why it's beyond upgrading? I'm not too great with computers, but why wouldn't upgrading the ram and GPU alone not do it?
Upgrade the GPU and the CPU would bottleneck it. You could only get DDR2 RAM, would barely be able to upgrade the CPU, etc.
Upgrading anything on it just isn't worth it. Save up until you can build one yourself.
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask, but I need some help with Fireworks CS5.
I have 2 vector shapes like so:

I'd like to align them along the side marked in red. If I try to do so manually, you can see that they're slighty off when scaled larger. Is there any way to automatically align them correctly and ensure the overlapping sides are the same angle?
I installed F.Lux but it insists that 21:00 (I installed it some time at 21:XX) so it's white during the night rather than the day.
What can I do to stop this?
Have you set your location in F.lux?
Have you set your location in F.lux?
I have yes, it says right now sunset is in 2 hours.
What software can I use to automatically backup things from my main pc on to my server? It runs ubuntu server 11.04 and I use Samba to store shit on it. Main PC uses W7.
Because of my uncertainty of getting good answers, I could post it here as well:

After looking on the internet for an affordable and good graphics card, I've found this GPU:

Even though I've also discussed this with a few other people, I'm still not sure if this is the right choice to make.

Is it possible to use RAM clocked at say 1600Mhz even if the motherboard isn't compatible with that specific speed?
Specifically this mobo: Gigabyte ATX AMD 870
And this memory: Corsair Vengeance™ DDR3 1600MHz.
What are the best addons for foobar 2000? (And don't say anything related to last.fm.)

yes, you just have to change settings manually above 1333
don't get vengeance, it's usually overpriced and tall heatspreaders are dumb and have no advantages other than getting in the way of CPU heatsinks
just get whatever 1333 or 1600 kit is cheapest, the difference between 1333 and 1600 is unnoticeable
Name of that website that gives you a list of essential software so you can make a pack with the ones you like the most?
I've been suffering with an HP Pavilion Elite 210f for almost a year now because I didn't have the choice at the time to build my own computer.
The CPU and such is great, but I'm stuck with a Radeon HD 5450. I don't like it.
So yesterday was my birthday, and mom says if I can find a GPU and PSU, she'll get it for me.
But to upgrade it, I need a new PSU because my current is only 300 fucking watts.
Here's my current specs...

I can't be arsed to look at the GTX 560 Ti's, you have to check the price in cart.

more fans = quieter so they can move at a lower RPM to move the same amount of air
