So should I just deal with it then..?
-snip- wrong forum
Just wondering, I've had quite a few headsets in my time, pretty much all of which have fallen to the sound becoming weird About half an hour ago my current one is doing the same, where in music whole layers of sound are missing or garbled (For example, only hearing the drums in a song; which is somewhat interesting but ultimately undesirable) At times it sounds like the sounds are in G-major, or everything's underwater too I'm pretty sure this always happens because of a horribly twisted cable, but I'm just wondering if there's any way at all to fix it, or If I need to shell out for a new one. If it's terminal, is a Creative Fatal1ty any good?

Okay, so on windows, I see everything repeated in a ghost image to the right of it, but on Linux this isn't an issue... Wtf?
So should I just deal with it then..?
Could have something to do with your drivers.
Okay all the text is surrounded by a minute white border, how do I get rid of it. I'm p sure it's the problem.
specs? Is this happening through HDMI only on an ATI card?
Can I get those suggestions I asked about? A gaming laptop in the 1,500-1,700 USD range with HDMI output.
specs? Is this happening through HDMI only on an ATI card?
It only has an HDMI output. Radeon HD 6800 [t]http://i.imgur.com/6ABXd.jpg[/t] It doesn't look like that because of the camera, it's really how the text looks.

What?
What?
Auto-adjusting the screen with the generic "AUTO" button?
My TV doesn't have one.
Oh it's your TV? No wonder, same thing for me. Text looks terrible, and there's flickering everywhere.
Go into the ATI CCC digital flat panel options and change the over/underscan options
Go into the ATI CCC digital flat panel options and change the over/underscan options
Then I get put into a position where I can't see everything, and stuff is still blurry.
-SNIP- Fixed it by looking at the code in a browser.
These are my current specs: I plan on upgrading the CPU at some point and currently Microcenter is having a really good sale on AM3 and LGA1155 cpus and motherboard combos. I'm going to try and pool money together and maybe get some birthday cash (high doubt my parents will help me out a bit since it's less than two months away lol) and do the upgrade possibly this week. Now my question is what I should upgrade to. They have the i5 2600K at $179.99 and the Phenom II x4 955 at $111.99 right now, with $40 off any combo AM3 and LGA1155 motherboard. Which one will give me the best bang for the buck? If you need the lists of what the deals are here is the link http://viewer.zmags.com/publication/a905f0fc#/a905f0fc/1 The Intel deals are on page 28 and the AMD deals are on page 29. To be safe I'd say my budget is about $250 at the moment. If you guys can help me find a good cpu and motherboard deal that'd be great, and crossfire compatibility woould be nice since I plan on getting a second 6870 and PSU after this upgrade.
Is there any way I can save some money on this without sacrificing too much quality? http://i.imgur.com/wyYVs.png
Is there any way I can save some money on this without sacrificing too much quality? http://i.imgur.com/wyYVs.png
Ditch the wireless card and the speakers and get a better graphics card.
Is there any way I can save some money on this without sacrificing too much quality? http://i.imgur.com/wyYVs.png
that's horrible, combo deals, and why are you paying $60 for an xcilio PSU when you could get a much better antec/other brand for the same price or just get a good deal with a 912 + coolermaster PSU [editline]20th July 2011[/editline] ill put together a build real quick. [editline]20th July 2011[/editline] much much much much better I got rid of those speakers and replaced them with HD201 - they will sound better, but there's enough room in the budget for the speakers instead if you must.
My TV doesn't have one.
yeah everything looked funny on my TV too at first just adjust your picture settings for me it was mainly tweaking the contrast and the sharpness
I actually used a thread on Facepunch and everyone seemed fine with it so I'm really fucking confused. I absolutely have no idea what I'm doing with PC building.
http://www.amazon.com/Cables-Go-Stereo-Female-Adapter/dp/B000J1H4VI/ref=pd_cp_e_2 Should i order this if i want to plug in my xbox 360 sound to my computer speakers? [editline]21st July 2011[/editline] Fuck, shipping cost more than the damn thing it self. This is madness!
Would this be a good buy? Anyone ever use this site? http://www.ecrater.com/p/11885448/microsoft-zune-32gb-hd-platinum
Well, my HDD got corrupted because of frequent power cuts, and I'm trying to recover some data from it, but EaseUS isn't worth the money. I might as well just format the HDD, but it would be nice to get some documents etc. back. are there are decent alternatives out there that won't cost me?
I have some questions about Evga back-stock items are they open-box items or RMA's and of what quality are they? I was thinking about picking up GTX 480 or is there is better card for the price just let me know.
It's B-Stock not backstock, they're refurbs, open box, returns, etc, I think.
It's B-Stock not backstock, they're refurbs, open box, returns, etc, I think.
So should I take the risk for the lower price?
Yeah, I love open box products
