Whoo finally gonna get a new computer!
I picked up a computer from a craigslist listing, and it had 2 DIMM type ram cards. I dont know how much memory each one has If anyone can help me identify each one that would be awesome. [editline]24th July 2011[/editline] The picture is a bit blurry The sticker says CMP400PC1024.01 PO#10856-1 JIYG18TVB
256MB
Thank you! For future reference, how can you tell?
probably 512MB.
?
Thank you! For future reference, how can you tell? ?
Apparently it's 1GB http://www.provantage.com/centon-electronics-cmp400pc1024-01~7CNTN032.htm Anyway you should look at the chips, a lot of the time they say how much memory is on them.
I've never bought a turntable before, and seeing as though I've already invested into a petty high line sound system, what turntable should I get?

The DIMM has 8 chips on each side. 8 x 64mb is 512mb, so there is 512mb on each side, equaling 1024mb or (1gb) for each card. Ah shit! :eng101:

I am planning on buying a new GPU from Evga B-Stock and I am stuck between a GTX 480 and GTX 570 The GTX 480 is $220 and the 570 is $250 For the little extra cost is it worth it to buy the GTX 570 because I know they perform close to the same.
Quick ram question: [sp]ignore the speed it's running at 1600[/sp] I'm rma'ing my ram, only problem is that they came as a paired set. If it swapped the one dimm that's broken could I see any problems from mismatching the pair with the new dimm? I only ask because it said so on the corsair site on the rma screen, but if the one that I get is the same type/speed/etc I can't see it being a problem?

Is there any free program that can read/write/mount ISO's? I have MagicDisk installed from before, but I uninstalled MagicISO and now I can't find a free version without a 300mb cap like the one I had.

Hi, I was going to get a computer for my birthday but we can't afford it. My dad suggested we buy it over time and I was just wondering since it is over time how can I improve these parts by about a total of $200-$300? Thanks.
