Wait a little...
also quit calling it an LED it makes me think of an HDMI cable connected to a tiny LED just say tv!
I knew it was akward. I'll just call it TV then. http://i56.tinypic.com/2en2kwo.jpg http://i51.tinypic.com/2lxbatz.jpg Does this help? Also, just noticed it is a HT355 (not a HT350, as I said).
You can get picture by DVI -> HDMI (From GPU to TV), but no sound. Connect the RCA cables from the DVD player to the HDTV and you'll get sound from the TV, but not the PC (It doesn't have anything else, like optical?) When I use my HDTV (If ever), I use GPU HDMI -> HDTV, and then Soundcard Optical -> Receiver. Since your card doesn't support sound through a DVI -> HDMI adapter, the only way you can get this to work is probably pulling out the GPU and using HDMI from the motherboard.

Right now the only sound I can get is by using a RCA cable, but this only gives me stereo sound, right? Then, how do I do that thing about "pulling out the GPU". I think it was something in the bios, right? And no, no optical.
What is the best 1000w Power supply I can get for the cheapest price?

I can't really help since I've hardly ever used RCA. I'm sure there's other people in this section or other forums that can help you beyond what I can though. There are probably adapters out there aswell..but I can't direct you towards anything in specific.
Why is it that half of the time when I try to copy files from my documents to my Program Files directories, I cannot get Administrative Rights to do so, or I get "Access is denied"? I am logged in as the Administrator. Windows 7 32bit
I recently got a GTX 480 and I have been having constant crashes where the computer will freeze and audio will loop, Now I have had these problems with my 9800 GX2. So I think that it is something other than my GPU but it has been happening more often with this new card I have the newest drivers for the card
i'm having a big problem when i try to run a VM of OSX, it always just outputs this error and says that the guest CPU has stopped working
I am thinking of getting a new GPU. But I don't know if I should get Nvidia or ATI/AMD. I Usually get Nvidia, And I Know which cards are good, but I don't know which for ATI. I got a XFX GT 9600. I really want to max out Skyrim and Battlefield 3 when it comes out too. I might go with Nvidia but hey. If I can get a beter card for cheaper, I would take it. I got $100 right now, but I'll be getting more money soon.

AM2+ Phenom 9550 @ 2.6Ghz, 4gb of DDR2 ram. 500w PSU. Xfx 9600gt. [editline]4th August 2011[/editline] Oh and a ASRock A770DE+ with crossfire. But I also got ASUS M4N72e with Sli. They both are similar from there [editline]4th August 2011[/editline] Oh and I got 2 monitors, one is 1920x1080 and the other is 1400x900

The CPUs have a special identification key on Macs that is required to run the OS. You could try Hackintoshing it.

Ok some weird shit going on here i52500k msi g45 2x2 ddr3 1333 Hyper 212+ I'm trying to overclock to 4.5Ghz but when I did Windows wouldn't boot, so I reset all the settings in the BIOS and it did, wtf am I doing wrong? It would post and everything would seem fine but Windows just wouldn't start up. It boots at 44 but not 45, voltage on auto. I suppose 44 is as high as I'll get, strangely enough it's very stable. Anyone have a good guide for GPU overclocks?
And would there be a way to dual-boot with hackintosh?
Yeah but I don't have experience with Hackintosh so I have no idea.

Or if you wanna get really advanced, go into settings and enable voltage overclocking and google how to enable overclocking above the limits then pull the slider for voltage, then clock and click apply.
[del]I have an i5 - 2500k with only a stock cooler right now and want to overclock a little. What's a safe speed with a stock cooler?[/del] Answered, still looking for an answer to the bottom Q. Same question with a EVGA GTX 560 ti, how high can I overclock that safely? (With the EVGA precision program) I have a coolermaster gx 650w 80+ psu if that helps.

I'm still getting great temps between 30C -50C, even on load.
I'm wondering what is so bad about AVG as an anti-virus? I currently use it and it hasn't been too bad except when it claimed one of my game .exe files was a virus.
I'm wondering what is so bad about AVG as an anti-virus? Upgrade to Microsoft Security Essentials. It uses even less memory.

However, I still want to know how to do that thing about disabling the GPU (I know I'm not going to be able to play games). Thanks to both of you again.

Ok I got the CPU to 4.7 at 1.32V anything below 1.315 blue screens.

Yeah I stepped it back to 4.5 and raised it to 1.325, guides show them getting 4.5 with 1.28 and I don't see much benefit of going over 4.5 anyway, unless it's on a much more expensive cooler. Also can someone tell me how to turn off overdrive with Asus monitors? They say it might reduce ghosting but I can't get into that menu.
Does anyone know of a comfortable chair for people with... elevated necks, I guess? I'm sort of tall and the chair i currently use (the one that looks like it was made out of a shaved bear, to quote brt) is INCREDIBLY FUCKING COMFORTABLE, but has no neck support. I'm starting to develop some problems related to that. Yes, I have gone into office depot and stores like it to try out office chairs, but they don't seem to have very high backs/a neck support of some kind, and if they do, the chair is really damned rigid. Can anyone recommend a chair with some proper neck support and a higher back?
Whatever you do don't get leather/faux leather unless you just love sitting around with a sweaty ass crack all day.
Which out of these should I buy?
It really doesn't matter.
I have a surge protector with about 8 outlets on it. I connect all of my power components to it including my monitor, speakers, router and modem. This surge protector looks like this: I've had it since 1998ish , should I disconnect anything to prevent it from breaking on me one day? Should I buy a new surge protector or should this last me a lifetime?
