Hey I wanted to ask you guys, would this graphics card fit into my computer? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150540 Computer I am using http://www.google.com/search?q=dell+dimension+c521+slim&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi&biw=1440&bih=787 Current graphics card http://techreport.com/r.x/geforce-7950gt/bfg-cards.jpg PCU http://www.amazon.com/DELL-Dimension-C521-slimlin-L280P-01/sim/B001R57UGY/2
it should fit (but you should open it up to see if the heatsink would block anything) but I wouldn't if I were you, 6770's use about 100w on load which is very low, but that power supply could be an IED waiting to happen, and even if you had no problems the processor would bottleneck the living jesus out of the card anyway.
are you sure those are the exact current cards you have because that looks like a low profile case

Needs to be under 100$.
are you sure those are the exact current cards you have because that looks like a low profile case
Yes but I keep my case open so I can fit fat cards in. Edit: I regret everyday that I actually payed more money to get the slim case.. Everyday.
Oh hey I've got another question. Does anyone else have issues with sites like Facebook (that update without refreshing) or Google Instant on Chrome? Facebook always slows to a crawl and if I leave google up for too long, it'll freeze.
Windows 7 install disc gets stuck at "Press any key to boot from DVD/CD" when I press a key. Anyone have any suggestions? This wouldn't be much of a problem but now magically my bloody laptop refuses to boot even into Linux because I pressed the fucking wireless button and that somehow makes Linux refuse to boot. And since it's controlled with software, I can't change the state of the button without booting first, which introduces an annoying problem of not being able to reverse the problem. I can boot if I disable WiFi and Bluetooth in the BIOS, but if I do that, I obviously won't be able to use WiFi and Bluetooth, and the button doesn't work.
Am I missing anything, or are they not compatible? (Watercooling) http://www.scan.co.uk/savedbasket/2ee93c52784b44eea2e8648c2e55867c

What would be the best graphics card for setting up an old school ATi Truform rig? I've read around on Wikipedia and through a few articles, and it's quite confusing as to which cards support it and which cards don't.
I'm thinking about buying two 15inch subwoofers from my friend for $300, he said he will install them also. Is that a good deal?
I'm thinking about buying two 15inch subwoofers from my friend for $300, he said he will install them also. Is that a good deal?
What brand, and are they self powered or do they need an amp?
If we ever get a V3 it needs to be called: The "Quick Questions that does not Deserve a Thread" Thread. V3 - BUILD YOUR OWN DAMN COMPUTER
I'm thinking about buying two 15inch subwoofers from my friend for $300, he said he will install them also. Is that a good deal?
Ask yourself this: Is it worth the $300 to have two huge obnoxious noise makers when a single, more modestly sized and price woofer will do you just fine? Given the low price, my bet is that the woofers your friend is offering you are not self powered, so they will require an amp. I wouldn't be surprised if you had to shell out an extra $200 for the extra parts you'll need.

He has him in his car now and they work well.

Have an antec 300. How easy is it to mod? Looking to cut some holes near the psu and right side of the motherboard for better cable management. Also looking to spray it up with some matte black. Any suggestions/pointers?
Is the Diamond HD 6770 any good for the price? I got one earlier because my old nVdia was shutting down, but now I am noticing a few graphical errors, that when I move a window over them, they wipe away.
Any explanation why I have an svchost that takes up over 350,000k during and after an avast scan? It usually just runs around 100,000k normally. I run Win7 64bit. Here are the services the svchost's in charge of:
Anyone know of a good 1080p monitor for less than $200 with shipping? New, tigerdirect, etc. I hate buying monitors because of all the bullshit with things like contrast ratio (lack of standards, etc)

Is buying a Logitech G35 a stupid idea?
Never mind don't buy them
Why is that?
I need some additional RAM since one stick went bad on me recently but I'm not sure what RAM is compatible with my motherboard. I know it needs to be DDR2 and the RAM should match the other sticks installed, but is there anything else I should know or should I just pick out one already?
Motherboards have a memory speed (mhz) limit, but you should be fine for 1066/1333.
Motherboards have a memory speed (mhz) limit, but you should be fine for 1066/1333.
It's DDR2. Anyway, voltage should match up as well.
