• Finding Driver/Software

Yesterday, my mouse broke. Fortunately for me a friend of mine had the exact same model of mouse, however whilst I waited for him to deliver it, I switched to some wireless mouse that was bundled with a keyboard from Logitech that was downstairs on the family PC. However, after receiving his mouse, it's really not working right, it feels identical to the wireless mouse, only with different DPI (which is nothing near how it should be) I can't help but believe the wireless mouse software has added effects, like smoothing of movement etc. But I can't for the life of me find the driver software for that mouse on my PC. I was wondaring if there is anyway to filter drivers by date they were installed? Or if anyone could suggest any other way to find them mouse drivers.
The drivers should appear in "Device Manager" under "Mice or other pointer devices" if it's wireless it might appear under "Bluetooth devices." What are the make & model of both the wired and wireless mouse? You can go into control panel and choose "Mouse" to see if anything has changed under that and fiddle with the sensitivity. Make sure you unplug the wireless dongle from the PC when the wired mouse is plugged in and check that the wired mouse doesn't have a DPI button on it somewhere like the Zowie FK1 has a button underneath that changes the DPI.
