I used to use these. Sound quality is good but my god are they horribly uncomfortable.
They don't overlap your ears. Or just barely do. But then your ears are like crumbled up inside of them and after a long period of use and you take em off. Your ears hurt so horribly bad.
Unless you have inhumanly small ears

This.
Most comfortable headset I've ever used. I'm not much of an audiophile so I don't really know how the mic / headphone sound qualities compare.
Both sound fine to me though, but again, I'm no expert :P

JVC HA-RX900's
Very nice. Without any EQ they lack bass, but I fixed that. Only other problem is that after a while, they got hot under there. Despite being an "open" headphone, they're still very enclosed, and you might suffer a little bit of pain from contact with the mesh cover inside the phone.

the old $30 Creative Fatal1ty headset. They're really good.
my Audio Technica ATH-AD700s just arrived a few days ago. Still burning them in but already they sound goddamn amazing. I'll have a headphone amp soon too so the sound should only get better.

They are the same just that the other is usb and the other not. (What i think)

Yeah but with USB it has to use its own sound card, which is usually shit and restricts you too much. The one with 3.5mm jacks is amazing.
So i am amazing :v:

a700s dont gain much from amping, although its a good investment for a future headphone upgrade

As other's have said, these babies are awesome. Shame the G-buttons aren't as sophisticated as I hoped - I wanted to be able to bind programs/applications to them, not just the Logitech defaults.
Holy crap I just tried on my cousins Senheiser HD 555 are they are amazing! Amazing sound quality and very comfortable.

They are incredibly uncomfortable though. They feel like they cut your ears. And they feel cheap as shit. I had them taped together for months.
