My G15 comes in the mail tomorrow. happyface
I have a G15v2 but I have no use for the screen at this point. I don't suppose anyone can help me get some use out of it? (On the bright side, I love the orange lighting)
Set the RSS feed app to some good sites like CNN, G4, BBC. It's nice to look down and see the cycling headlines of all the crazy stories going on.
what about getting the FP ticker on that screen. how many would use that? ;p
In my opinion, you should get the G11, since you will never look at that little screen on the G15. [editline]03:12PM[/editline] You save money too.
Typical ignorant response right here folks.
It works fine for me and I'm still using a 1st Gen (which I find to be superior to the 2nd Gen, by the way) and an Asus Rampage Formula series motherboard.
Yeah I mean I don't think every model, I think it might be some of the cheaper/older ones. I have a P5N-D and it happens to me.
I have one, using it to type this message, Yeah you should get it.
just got mine, it's great first gen $60..... is there a thread for g15 support?
I got a first gen G15, that I bought a goooooood long time ago. Best $115 dollars I spent. The LCD has been a great help in everything.
G19 <3 Also the new G15v2 sucks ass, my sister and brother had one, I had the old sexy G15v1, was so sexy <3 wish I could get another one.
Great keyboard. Though I've grown tired of it.
I use a G11 for my gaming computer. I was going to get a G15, but apparently it was outsold. They were sold for the exact same price, not sure why. I can't realy be bothered with looking at the keyboard, so the macro keys become useless, and so would the G15's screen be.
I use my G19 screen for the clock and CPU shit, otherwise nothing :buddy:
I have been using the G15 for about 1.5 years now and i love it, its greatest feature is the screen, i barely use the G keys but the screen is awesome.

It doesn't have backlit keys though. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard_mice_combos/devices/3481&cl=us,en

Fucking great keyboard.
It's awesome, I got mine from www.geeks.com for like 50 bucks, you should REALLY pick one up, it has a full LCD screen and it appears in games like Doom 1/Doom 2, Titan Quest, World of Warcraft, Half Life 2, and a bunch of uther games, 54 programmable G keys, (18, but 3 different profiles), a key to disable the windows key for gaming, and something to switch the LCD display for clocks and stuff, a backlighting key that lights up the LCD screen and the keys, and a mute button that mutes your volume, a stop, pause, play, next, and previous button for windows media player, and it has a volume control under the lcd screen basically just buy it
I don't think I'll ever like using another keyboard. I need my LCD for temps and shit :saddowns:

Games though, never used them in games.

Seriously. G15 is awesome for a while, then you realize It's a waste of time. Got the 1st gen with bigger screen than 2nd gen etc etc but seriously, I haven't used it for the past 1.5 years.
I find it really good for multimedia apps, such as foobar2k, so that I can see media info. That, and the clock is helpful in fullscreen apps, since I don't own a clock.
I am not really into those wireless things, it feels like it has a small delay (Probably has) and the batteries run out to fast.
That and the lack of backlit keys makes it an iffy sale for me, however some might like it.
