Which do you prefer? Also I'm thinking the shift key size, do you find it hard with the UK layout small shift keys? Is having a bigger enter key on the UK layout better? etc
UK layout, so much simpler and the emphasis on the enter key is pretty good.
UK, but then again I am a Brit and I have grown up using it.
Having the @ key on Shift+2 feels so wrong. So UK.
UK keyboard with a Mac style layout. I'm a developer, so having " nearby is super useful. I don't use @ most of the time, so having it up on the 2 key is good. [img_thumb]http://www.conrad.com/medias/global/ce/9000_9999/9100/9180/9184/918420_BB_00_FB.EPS_1000.jpg[/img_thumb]

Which ever one you grew up with. So American. [editline]13th August 2013[/editline] I don't think there's an absolute "better" one. It's just what you're personally used to after years of inculcation.
I don't actually know what one nz uses really, however it does have @ on shift+2.
I can't stand enter keys that are vertically large.
I'm a odd one I guess, I'm in the UK yet having an american keyboard yet setting it to UK layout on my OS. But really, find it difficult to use UK layout keyboards, their shift keys are too small for running in fps games and I end up pressing the key next to shift.
US keyboard, because i got use to it in 6 years and the enter isn't so huge
US Keyboard but a UK layout and living in Ireland.
I'm using a UK board with US layout.
Try using a French keyboard. AZERTY instead of QWERTY, symbols mixed up all over the place. Horrible to use. I'll choose UK layout any time, mainly because I live in the UK and therefore it's the logical layout for me to use, and I've been using it all my life. I can kind of use the US layout though, when installing an OS that doesn't have the UK layout installed/enabled yet.
