My sister got a really nice laptop for college (Way over what she needed), but it's too heavy and bulky to carry around. She really only needs a Note(Net?)book, and said she would give me hers if she gets another.
I'm looking for a laptop that:
Starts up fast
Doesn't get too hot
Can run videos full screen, steaming videos.
Lightweight and portable
Has at least a 250gb harddrive
Good enough not to lag when doing simple tasks, or having 15+Tabs open
Is under $800, $700 or less would be preferred
Thanks in advance you sexy hardware studs.

She really likes this one, the other one Falco recommended is too big
What about the ASUS then? Then it's really a matter of $100. $100 for a slightly faster netbook from a little bit better brand or not.
refurbished macbook, it's not the fastest, but it has the nicest features in my opinion. The battery life and multi touch gestures on mine make me not want to use anything else when it comes to laptops.
Inb4 someone dumbs me, claims laptops are all about power and that macbooks are overpriced.
