What about; Operation Flashpoint 2 Champions Online Dawn of War 2 Assassin's Creed 2 Red Faction Guerilla GTA 4 Batman: Arkham Asylum Left4Dead 2 [editline]09:28PM[/editline] What about; Operation Flashpoint 2 Champions Online Dawn of War 2 Assassin's Creed 2 Red Faction Guerilla GTA 4 Batman: Arkham Asylum Left4Dead 2
Well, if you're fine with that, I'll make an adjustment to your build if needed. Though might be more worthwhile to invest in a single 5870 and get a second one later as I mentioned earlier.
Operation Flashpoint 2 - Yes Champions Online - Not yet Dawn of War 2 - Think so Assassin's Creed 2 - Dunno Red Faction Guerilla - Yep GTA 4 - think so Batman: Arkham Asylum - Ya Left4Dead 2 - Ya
any game that does not support Xfire should be maxed out by a 5850, most AAA titles are [editline]06:47PM[/editline]
What about; Operation Flashpoint 2 Champions Online Dawn of War 2 Assassin's Creed 2 Red Faction Guerilla GTA 4 Batman: Arkham Asylum Left4Dead 2
all of them do, well maybe not champions online but it should
itt: "ooh ooh hezzy pick my build"
How about using this; http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/index.php?page=pcsystembuilder Can someone try and recreate a similar build to the one below, to compare how much it costs custom building versus prebuilt?
Using that site I got £945 inc VAT and Delivery. But that's without any graphics cards as they don't have the 5800 series in. You're looking at £1350 for pre-built.
I build an almost exact one on PCSpecialist, and it comes to: £1152.17 ex VAT. £1325 inc VAT and Delivery. [editline]03:03PM[/editline] I selected a GTX295, which is roughly similar in price to two 5850's.
looks to be £1500-ish
The more high end a build is the more you will save by building it yourself. If you want a demonstration of supreme ripp offs then pay a visit to www.alienware.co.uk. You can spend well over £3000 and get nothing more than you can build yourself (for about half the price).

Or the DIY alternative for oil, (not sure if us Brits can get it, and it would be a pain in the arse for LANs).
This: Or this:

Yeah that's been posted about 20 times
Yeah that's been posted about 20 times
people have said, i was just giving the link.
This:
Looks good to me. I don't know if Hezzy still wants to get anything changed or wants questions answered, but if he doesn't I suggest he just goes over to buying the parts
This:
Yep Hezzy, that's probably the best you're gonna get for the money :clint:
It's my dad buying me the computer, he's going to look at the build I gave him again tomorrow. This is instead of a car :v:
It's my dad buying me the computer, he's going to look at the build I gave him again tomorrow. This is instead of a car :v:
Good luck  Glad I could help
Fuck, I'm jealous of that build.
It's my dad buying me the computer, he's going to look at the build I gave him again tomorrow. This is instead of a car :v:
Your car is awesome.
Your car is awesome.
It's awesome apart from the fact I have to share it with my mum! I think I was going to be getting a cheap ford focus but I just really can't justify the running costs with how much use I'd get out of it. Whenever I want to go somewhere here it's always either the pub or lectures. I can't drive after drinking, and I can't park anywhere near my lectures. It's actually probably more convenient walking!

My mum's friend has had the same one for about 7 years and it's only gone wrong once.
But this pc is better :fappery:
Could build a pretty good i7 system + 5870 for that budget. Have a look around scan.co.uk, ebuyer.co.uk and overclockers.co.uk. You can pick up an i7 920 for £200 now, with a 5870 being a good, future proof solution coming in at around £300. Depending on your needs, onboard audio is fine, the Realtek HD chips have come along leaps and bounds. The pcspecialist build, could be much better for the price. Avoid Alienware, owned by Dell, horrid customer support, horrid prices. Also, there isnt an easy way to compare brands and model numbers. Most of the work is done by reading benchmarks and reviews.
My 4870 was "future proof." Goddamn eyefinity being released only for 5xxx series!
Yeah but the 4870 is still an awesome card.
But this pc is better :fappery:
Yeah. I agree. I think if I already had a car I could use (even if I had to share it) I'd still get a new computer. It's not long till I can learn to drive now! Only 10 months.
