• How to jailbreak - 3.1.2 + Downgrading 3.1.3

When I jailbreak my 3g I don't get service, really annoying  I've tried both the Snowbreeze and Restoring to 3.1.2 and Jailbreaking, but when I try to restore to 3.1.2 it gives me an error. The error code was 1015 or something.
Does restoring to 3.1.2 delete apps and music? If yes, It's a no go for me. And is blackra1n so much better than redsn0w? Because you can install cydia using blackra1n like this.

Because you can install cydia using blackra1n like this.
Ok I say "Blackra1n all the way" because of its easy and simple executable, but many say "Redsn0w for the win". Do a bit of googling; 'does your iPod fit the requirements, does it look easy to use, and what are the risks' are things you should always base it on.
So when I restore to 3.1.2 will it delete any apps or music on my itouch? [editline]09:47PM[/editline] Ok, I found out that blackra1n is a tethered jailbreak on the itouch 2g which is what I have. How does that work? You have to run blackrain when you reboot? Does that delete anything? I rarely reboot so I wouldn't mind.
Nope - Shouldn't delete anything. When you restore you start afresh with only the compulsary apps but if your connected to iTunes it will say "Restore from a back up of *Name*" Restore to the one you want - Tada you should have the exact iPod with all media and applications.
Why does everyone skip over PwnageTool, anyway?
