My backup gpu is my nuclear reactor gtx 590 :v:
My ultimate backup card if I can be bothered to find it is a Quadro NVS 210. :v:
My ultimate backup card if I can be bothered to find it is a Quadro NVS 210. :v:
Same actually. I got several for free from old work computers. One of them i threw in my gf's parent's machine simply because it needed something more substantial than whatever intel attempted for a socket 775 core 2 quad. I would love to rebuild their machine with a zen apu and a teensy itx board. actually fuck it I just want to get them an intel nuc. Its literally all they'd need.
I've got my GTX 690 chilling on my shelf, makes quite a nice ornament for the battlestation.
I've got GTX 285, ATI 5450, gt 210, and an nvs 410 as back up cards but none of them have particularly good W10 support
Pushpins are fun because their design suggests you don't need to look at the back of the PCB, but you end up doing so to make sure the stupid things actually go through and stay put. At that point you might as well have a bolted-on backplate.
why don't you guys have an 8400GS buried under ten years of shit in the back of your closet for backup amateurs
I have an old Geforce 8800GT, does that count?
Just noticed the first scratch I've ever gotten on a glasses lense in the 12+ years I've been wearing them and it's on the inside, the side that's either against my face or protected by the glasses being folded up :why:
Honestly I prefer just regular 'ol screws and a backplate. The Wraith Spire on my Ryzen was the easiest to install cooler I've ever seen. Less fragile plastic to worry about the better.
I still have mine collecting dust in the box
I had really bad luck with my 212 Evo, I ended up stripping the bolts when installing it somehow. It basically ensured that you'd have to super careful if you ever had to replace it.
I thought I had stripped my first one, but I was just not getting the screws into the thread. It was uncomfortable how much pressure I had to put to get it to catch, but I didn't have any problems afterwards. Even with scratch-resistant lenses they're still pretty beat up, and I worked in an office 70 hours a week. I'm glad I can go back to contacts now. I missed not having shit on my face in order to see.
Am I the only one that could get those Intel heatsink in on the first try 90% of the time?
Trying to install my noctua d15 was a bitch and a half because I could not get the screw springs in properly

One time I had a user attach heatsink without putting in CPU after telling me they put in CPU, and I was not able to tell until I count the amount they screw, because of low camera angle.
Thank you L-SMASH, I know the video container is damaged, stop interrupting me every planck length with reminder.
Oh nice Telstra have blocked coin-hive.com at the ISP level.
As much as i think coin-hive is cancer ISPs shouldn't block domains at their will
Hey they're wrapping up the construction in the office. But nothing has changed. Oh wait, there are more security cameras and motion detectors. Only a month after they started forcing us to badge in on the elevator too. Meanwhile anyone with access to the freight elevator can get into the office with no problems. I swear, corporate security theater can rival TSA in terms of ridiculousness at times.
Metal detector and completely insecure parking entrances when?
If that is ever in the plan, I'll be long gone before that happens. Can't trust a company that can't trust me.

As a modder I get a bunch of overblown compliments, or whiny begging to fix it when things break because of a game update. But this. This is a new level. [t]https://i.imgur.com/FlVSwDT.png[/t]
A certain store that sells whole products had their systems compromised today. And it's going to fuck my whole day up.

Aaaand this mod is for an MMO and it's not allowed on the server they're playing on (unlike mine) and I actually kinda feel bad about that :c

I got this in an Adobe newsletter and chuckled a little. Got an ex? Use Photoshop to erase them from photos!
