Look into microfiber towels and print head swabs if you're going to make cleaning keyboards a regular thing.
It's not my job to clean them, so I'm not going to. I just realized they're gross as hell, wanted to see how gross.

Sounds like this thread needs some anger management, I never slap myself or my stuff.

I would give my left foot for a 31inch 4K OLED monitor, but unfortunately it can suffer from burn in.

I know you guys have seen Techmoan's New York 1993 Digital VHS, but here's footage from the same master of American footage from one of the earlier HD-VCRs, a W-VHS which recorded analog component 1035i:
VFD used to be my favorite, OLEDs are coming close, nothing beats amazing flipdot displays.
I should make a flipdot simulator. With sound.
If they weren't so ridiculously expensive. I wish I had an in with my local bus company, they have amazing flipdots with integrated lighting.
We have VFD calculators at work with wall adapters, they look mighty fine.

When they are new they just have this amazing saturation to them, even OLED can't match that some of the time.
Only bad thing is that they age, but amazingly, my father's stereo timer clock is still fairly bright, despite being on for nearly 30 years.
I still gotta find a use for the two programmable VFDs I got as production samples from Noritake Itron...

i just had an exam where we had to SSH into a VM to do a part of it, and a bunch of people found out about the wall command and started spamming it like fucking twitch chat during the exam

WoL is the culprit, so is any other kind of "Wake on x"
