Nope, not really. Most AIO liquid coolers can't beat top end air, and they're more expensive to boot. [editline]14th July 2017[/editline] Also often louder and more failure prone.
I'm going to need some test results from a non-retard to accept those statements. Edit: And when I say non-retard, I mean like, not Linus putting on a thick layer of Chinese toothpaste. Someone credible.
Also of note is if that 5 user requirement is in their TOS, be prepared for that to end at any time when they decide to start enforcing it
And as is the case here I need to make sure my data will not disappear overnight with no solution. That is just as bad as before. Went with the 100GB option, can't really complain for £1.59 a month.

Looks like some of the newer models have closed the gap though, still either performing the same or worse for the most part save the 280mm one in there.

Not to mention he's apparently testing this thing in a freezer, the ambient temperature during testing was 19C. Residential households are around 22-25C, and they can get worse when you've got a few hundred watts worth of electronics.

And I have far more than a few hundred watts of electronics.
Didn't they update the pump in the x62 to be quieter and cooler? [editline]14th July 2017[/editline] The x62 is what I'd like to upgrade to, have it on my intake in the front and move all 3 intake fans up top for exhaust
My house is frequently at that temp? And I have far more than a few hundred watts of electronics.
Do you have AC? With target temperature and decent airflow all around, it'll just eat up all the ambient heat if you tell it to, but AC is a pretty American thing. Northern Europe, we insulate. Southern Europe, they build the houses out of basically nothing so they get shade + lots of airflow to make you feel cooler, through wind chill. But if you went somewhere stupid like Arizona and set the AC to 19C, you'd be paying for the electricity well into the winter.
Yeah, AC. I keep it really cool in the summer and it's not bad cost wise.
My a.c. is on all summer long, doesn't really hurt my power bill much
My a.c. is on all summer long, doesn't really hurt my power bill much
I forget if you're still in WA but we have the easiest summers and some of the cheapest electricity in the entire US :v: [editline]14th July 2017[/editline] Like, somewhere like California pays roughly double for electricity compared to Washington if I remember right
Hydro power OP
My a.c. is on all summer long, doesn't really hurt my power bill much
I'm in florida. If my AC is off for... 5 minutes I feel it.
I have a hilariously low tolerance for heat and humidity, anything above 70F with med humidity and I'm fuckin' dying. As such, I keep my AC on basically all summer long . (I'm in upstate NY)
My moms boyfriend moved here from upstate New York, he's loving the weather here so far. [editline]14th July 2017[/editline] A "heat wave" here is like 106f last week or two it's been upper 70's with today being like 82f [editline]14th July 2017[/editline] Talk about you're local weather itt

I picked up two 8TB easy stores at BB today. Both are WD80EFAX's. Meaning WD Red's with 256mb cache. Hot damn.
The weather where you are is messed up. I was up there most of the year and it went from 60 to snowing too fast for sanity.
Rochester in particular is fun for that. Lake effect snow, wee.
I picked up two 8TB easy stores at BB today. Both are WD80EFAX's. Meaning WD Red's with 256mb cache. Hot damn.
How much were they?
How much were they?
$199 each. They were $179 earlier in june, but I didn't have the cash for it. In comparison, you can find seagate backups plus or expansions for $179, but there is a good chance they still use archive drives. Some people are finding barracudas in them now though.
Neat, the screen protector on my s8 is scratched
They're also super fucking quiet and perform great. ~190MB/s at 5400rpm on the outside.
Is it self content if I some how managed to use the hotkey to activate filter keys (apparently, hold shift for 8 seconds then tap enter??) accidentally and then was very confused why my computer just beeped at me instead of typing letters?

May go for the D15 then. It costs a bit more but is apparently better than the H100i v2 I got. [editline]15th July 2017[/editline] I went for a lower end motherboard (because it was recommended to do so on /r/buildapc) and was going to get the ASRock AB350 Pro4 ATX Motherboard - Socket AM4 - AMD B350 Chipset. PartPicker says
The motherboard M.2 slot #2 shares bandwidth with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA 6.0 Gb/s port is disabled.
Does this really matter? It's nice that it has 2 M.2 slots, however I'd likely only use one of them.
Talk about you're local weather itt
This has been a remarkably cool week.

The 2nd one isn't standard, so it's up to the manu to decide how to implement it. Just put your m.2 in the top.
I swear telegram needs to fire their android developer For a supposedly open source project, he only updates github once every ~6 months, totally disabled the issue tracker so nobody could report bugs / suggestions, and constantly keeps changing shit without warning His reasoning for this Annoyingly the only way to get in contact with the developers is A. Submit a question, which goes to a random volunteer, who might read it, then maybe they'll forward it to the staff trello, where a developer might see it B. Bitch on twitter and get ignored

More or less finalized PC Picker build, gonna start buying the parts. Does anyone have anything to add, suggest, etc? https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/vgRdQV Still contemplating on which GPU to get.
